so heres an idea, maybe can be used during a defferant meta.

Critmail-
builds from- chain vest, 2 cloth armor, combine cost

+70 armor
unique passive-
for every 100 armor this champion has, basic attacks against him have a reduced 15 percent chance to critically strike.

seems like an item like this might bring armor back into the meta. thouhts?

yes because we only need to improve the league of bruisers

well if a bruiser wanted to use it, they would have to build plenty of armor for it to become useful, maybe 200 (minus natural armor, say 35) armor total, though idk too many bruisers who can spend enough time on this to make it work for them. any suggestions?

what if the passive was

unique passive-
basic attacks lose 20 percent critical strike chance if your armor is 200 or greater.

The problem there is that all other armor items reduce DPS by the same percentage regardless of how much AD, AS, or Crit a carry stacks. With all the auto-attack procs (Ninja Tabi, Frozen Heart, Warden's Mail, Thornmail, Randuin's Omen, Doran's Shield) AD is actually already better, because it applies to abilities - armor penetration is a pretty close second. It also begs the question of why you need so much defense against auto-attacks given the options available.

This is an item mainly to work against adc's, and if at all, adc's need BUFFS right now, not nerfs.

Anti crit armor is not likely to happen.

WHat they should do is change is crit from being a % chance of doing double damage on auto attacks to a % increase of basic attack damage doing. phantom dancers would make 100 damage 130, etc. This would remove the random luck factor early/mid game.

perhap an aura based item that reduces incomin crit damg by 20% not reduce crit chance. has the same aura name as frozen heart so you cant stack frozen heart aura with THe anticrit item called Infinity dull.

it will have stat 500 hp 70 armor 15 mana regen aura based 20% reduce crit damg cannot stack with frozen heart.

THis would be perfect to add in the game.

There's already a bunch of armor items that give massive HP, armor, and AS reduction. A crit reduction item would make ADCs near useless if people decided to get it.

armor is ALREADY a % reduction of damage, crit is a percent increase in damage. they are forces directly opposed to one another already.
