Yes it's been listed elsewhere that the lore basically tanked in the Autumn of last year. But the one that makes the least amount of sense is Nami's. SHE HAS A LIMITED TIME TO SPEND ON LAND BEFORE HER PEOPLE DIE. IT NEVER STATES IN THE LORE THAT SHE SAVED THEM. SO WHY IS SHE WASTING HER TIME IN THE LEAGUE?

Don't worry so much, the lore is long dead. What we get now are regurgitated tidbits not worth too much attention.
And yes, Nami's lore makes no sense. Not how it is left now. They might have left it ambiguous like this, to come with new skins that have extra lore parts attached to them or maybe a new champ to expand the lore or something. We can only hope there will be something...

And with lores that don't make any sense, there still are some that are way more retarded than Nami's..

I am unsure how many times this needs to be answered on this forum, but the answer is that Nami came to the League because it is the information center of Runeterra, where many of the world's most powerful mages gather. Where else would you go if you were looking for a mystical artifact and had literally no idea where it might be?

Plus, as it turns out, the last member of the Lunarians is also a League member, so a future plotline with her and Diana is likely.

Nami tried to wait for the person with the Moonstone at the appointed place and time for the exchange. They didn't come so she ventured inland to try to find them. She's looking for a needle in a continent sized haystack. The League is the political and geographical center of the world that draws in crowds from literally every corner of Valoran. If she wants information, and she does because that is what she needs now in order to find the Moonstone, she is going to need to talk to people from all over Valoran because the Moonstone can be anywhere. The League has the greatest concentration of people from everywhere. Additionally she can publicly make a plea for help to raise awareness that the Moonstone is the only hope for her people much like Alistar raises public awareness that Noxus is a bad place. Again, the League allows her to do this by virtue of being broadcasted all across the continent. The only thing the League wants in return is for her to fight in the Fields of Justice. How does this not make sense?

Personally I think Rengar and Kha'Xiz's lores are the worst of all of them when it comes to justifying their reasons for joining. Nami at least makes sense once you realize that she is doing it as part of a deal in order to gain information that could lead her to the Moonstone.
