League black screen help please!

Hello. I'm having trouble with my league client. I can get to the log in screen perfect fine but then when it logs me in the client just stays black. Is there any way i can fix this? Please help.

This should take care of you....

  • Check to make sure you have cookies enabled in your Internet Settings.
  • You need to have TLS 1.0 & SSL 3.0 enabled, in Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Advanced tab, all the way at the bottom
  • Reset your Internet Explorer Settings:https://support.leagueoflegends.com/entries/234288-windows-settings-troubleshooting
  • Make sure you're not set to "Work Offline" mode in IE.
  • Update your Internet Explorer.

Yes.

When you log in, you aren't actually using a program at that point. You are using Adobie Air, which is Flash outside of the browser, to view a web page. Yup, the store and everything you see is just a web page. Unfortunately Adobe Air is completely dependent on Internet Explorer....go Adobe!

You don't actually use any "program" until the game itself launches.

EDIT: I suppose I should replace the word "program" with "client".....oh well.

its so weird. League of legends patcher opens up. I click play now. I log in, in the page with quinn and valor. Says login successful and when im supposed to be in the home page with my friends list and the play now button its just a black screen like in the screen shot.

OK, this next one is odd, and rare that it fixes the issue, due to a compatibility problem....

BEFORE you enter your password and log-in, check the "disable log-in music" box, lower left.

EDIT:

Try this as well...

Delete LolClient
File is located in: *\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_air_client\releases\0.0.0.249\deploy

Then repair the installation, open the launcher and click the cog wheel in the upper right.
