This is getting really annoying. It happens often enough where half my replays are useless.

It happens to other people pretty frequently too from what I understand.

Edit: Apparently there is a new lolreplay patch that fixes the problems caused by this. http://www.leaguereplays.com/download/

This has become incredibly frequent for me as well since the last patch. I rarely get to see end game stats because of it.

Two patches ago since it's begun for me.

A new Adobe AIR update was released recently, mostly for security reasons and not stability, but I still say you should get it.

The client uses its own internal version of Adobe AIR, so updating or even downloading Adobe AIR separately is pointless.
