Look, the stats and passive on Blade of the Ruined King themselves neutralize the passive on Frozen Heart or Randuin's Omen. Moreover the active on Blade easily counters Randuin's, except for if a tank pops it and peels the as/ls right clicker and then the entire team can burn said player.

The negative votes for my original post make no sense.

BotRK: viable on any ad champ and easy to rush.
Randuin's / Frozen Heart: not viable on every champ and expensive to rush.

BotRK passives: extremely valuable harass per g.
Randuin's / Frozen Heart passives: terrible passives for countering harass unless you're focused or standing on top of the as/ls champ.

BotRK active: viable in any situation.
Randuin's active: not viable in most situations.

"Hard counters?" Hardly. It costs 350g more to build and its passive only slows enemy attack speed by 20%. It doesn't reduce the amount of lifesteal per hit the champion receives. In fact, BotRK more effectively counters Randuin's since it provides the AS Randuin's decreases AND burns % total health per hit (decreasing the value of the Giant's Belt component of the tank item).

... Idiot.

Frozen Heart gives 95 Armor. Randuin's gives 70. A Singed would be able to have both.

Together, there is 165 Armor, which means 41.25%(165/4) of all physical damage is ineffective, and that's just them. Factor in other sources of armor, but with those two alone, they reduce BotRK's active to 8.8125% of your max HP, and only 2.9375% of your current, note, CURRENT, HP will be struck by the BotRK's passive. Also, now that those passives are out of the way, the attack speed boost means nothing to your Frozen Heart and Randuin's Omen. 140%-20%-20%-35%=65% of your now potential attack speed. RO and FH renders BotRK useless. It now deals less damage than a MBR(3% of CURRENT hp compared to 4% of MAX), has less attack speed, has less AD, no armor in itself, and has a pathetic active. L2p.

Meanwhile, APCs can buy BFT and deal tons more damage. Kennen, Lux, Annie, Singed, they decide what happens in the game.

They removed the attack speed slow from Randuin's Omen's active in Season 3.

Calling me an idiot is rude and uncivil.

You're also not factoring that other items provide attack speed and life steal. Nor that any ad character will have at least 8% armor damage bypass. At least.

You're doing the math on one side only. If you're going to theorycraft this hard, theorycraft a realistic picture.

Executioner calling and/or morellonomicon?

Talon and a few other champs have abilitis that apply grevious wounds.

Nasus's Wither. I think others have mentioned the other AS debuffs.

How about providing more mitigation options? Why isn't Thornmail or Warmog's Armor available on this map to counter these offensive items? Please, please introduce them. Warden's Mail into Frozen Heart or Randuin's is simply not enough for counterbuilding.

what the hell is a twisted tree line
