So how are things going between Demacia and Noxus?

Noxus still kicks ass.
Demacia still sucks balls.

Some may say that this opinion is biased, but that's just cause they're biased. There is nothing about this post suggesting that it is biased.

The glorious High General is correct! I mean...I, an unbiased observer, am inclined to agree.

Noxus is changing.
Demacia is the same.

Are the people of Demacia just that busy with their daily lives, or are they just that boring? I'm pretty sure not even Shyvana joining the army was a big deal to them, and she turned into a freaking dragon! Was Jarvan's return even anything special? Or did the people just sit in their homes and say "Oh, Prince Jarvan's back... That's nice."

Noxus

With the recent changes to the regime, Swain is under far more stress, than ever before. If he were a lesser man, he'd have shown it, by now. Darius has been doing Swain a job, clearing the High Command of those of "False Strength". Namely, of wealth. Swain has since gotten ahold of Riven and Sivir, speaking to the two of them, requesting that they join the High Command, saying that if anyone is to rule in Noxus, as High Command, it'll be those that are in the League. Even as he says this, he's brought Leblanc herself into the Command, silently watching, much to the distrust of Darius. Still, he understand's Swain's trust of her, and that the Black Rose worked in a manner of strength that he doesn't quite comprehend.

Draven, meanwhile, has become all the more popular, since joining the League. You can pick up his albums. "Every Draven I think of you", see his tv show "That's so Draven", and eat his favorite cereal: Draaaaaaavenos.

Katarina and Talon, meanwhile, continue to search for Marcus Du Couteau, with Cassiopoeia making her with through the lower and upper houses, demanding information.

Little do they know that Swain has actually been protecting Marcus from Leblanc's demand to have him killed. The two agreed that Noxus had fallen from true grace, and as such, Swain had Marcus relocated.

Leblanc, herself, is trying to decide what to do with Swain. Despite their relationship, she knows that he is far too intelligent to let in power, as he is. She respects, and maybe once upon a time, loved the man, but the Black Rose came above all. That is the Duty of the Matron. Swain knows of her worries, and is silently planning for her approach, to which he offers this: Allow him to stay in power: He will work as a balancing figure between not only the Black Rose, but that of the High Command as well. A merging of two systems.

Riven, now back in Noxus, is still skeptical, and while she knows of Swain's prowess, and of his vision of a United Noxus, she is afraid of being treated as she was by Darkwill.

Sion and Urgot are being Sion and Urgot.

Vladimir, meanwhile, has been focusing, quite a bit, actually, on the blood of other creatures. As such, he's evolved himself, through his power, into a Blood Lord, truly mastering whom he really is, though his hunger for death has grown.

Demacia

King Lightshield's facade of peace and love has slowly been fracturing, when an attempt on his life, by a no-named Noxian, caused him to lash out, and blame Talon as the perpetrator. Quinn, a lonely lower-class girl, gifted with vast intellect, finds this a chance to prove her importance to Demacia.

Her success does two things: it Leaves Garen distrustful of her actions, finding her to be a bit too free minded, to be a true Demacian. Jarvan, however, comes to realize that his home is stuck in a fashion that leaves little growth, for the lower classes.

Ever since the Kalamanda incident, Jarvan has kept his distance from most of Demacia, focusing on working with Shyvana, Garen, and yes, Katarina Du Couteau. Their discovery reveals that Swain's influence runs deep, that even the League is not safe from his touch. Jarvan's hate for the man only grows, mentally noting to put his head on a special place.

Fiora has been proving her prowess, day after day, but still refuses to use it for Demacia. She deems that Demacia, needs to fight her own battles, and leave those with more important things to do alone. She and Quinn have butted heads a few time, the Nobleman finding Quinn disgusting, a pathetic excuse and reason to be amongst the supposed sacred title of "elite".

Shyvana, herself, has silently been studying Demacia, fighting alongside them, and learning more, from Jarvan. Even as they fight, Shyvana finds her demand for blood and battle only growing stronger. A thirst for blood that can't be sated.

Lux, herself, has slowly began to unravel her mind, her brainwashing in the academy coming to her, in bits and pieces. She realizes that Demacia isn't the "Core of morality" it proves to be, but has stayed silent, in fear of death. As such, though, she's beginning to widen her gaze, her disdain for Noxus becoming weak, as she has no knowledge of Noxus, outside of "This is the enemy".

...I wish just a fraction of this was true...
