How did you choose your role?

I've been around since Nidalee came out and I still struggle with what role I want to take on and master, even after achieving around 2k elo. I seem to be more of a jack of trades kind of player which was more acceptable in the old days due to there wasn't really a set in stone meta. I play champions I love and not so much a role, which is troublesome because it seems you have to master a role to be on a team. All in all my question is how / what made you choose the role you play most / try to snag every game?

I started out playing ADC due to Tristana being free to acquire. It was miserable trying to lane with supports that didn't want to support. Eventually I said forget this. Supporting can't be as hard as they're making it out to be. So I picked up Janna, Sona, and Soraka and proceded to learn everything I could about the role. Now I love supporting and am one of the 2 viable supports amongst the people I queue with. I still don't get why people have issues with dropping wards... 75g omg so expensive.

I enjoyed being able to kill everything, while never dying. So I began to main bruisers, which live in the jungle and top lane. I also play Jarvan support though, that's hella fun.

I started top because it is the easiest.

I used to main mid because Morgana was easy.

But have you ever noticed when you're Mid or Top, Bot lane pretty much always feeds?
And Bot lane can feed harder than any other lane. You've got two champions, and if you die there you give up dragons.

Then Sona got that OP Arcade Skin, and thus began my love affair with support.

I liek mid lane because it is fun to play Casters, its nice not having to rely on someone else, and its not as risky as top. Also you can have a great impact on the game because its so easy for mid to roam.

I notice a lot of people main ADC because they dont trust their team so they wanna play the main carry. Imo thats a dumb mindset, play what you like.

I always offered to last pick in Blind Pick, so I got pretty experienced at jungle and support.

Top/mid because I prefer to 1v1 and win my lane.

I'm too much of a ***** for front line, so I play AP mids, adc, and support.
