There are a lot of problems with this. First of all, who is Olaf targeting? If he's going to the back lines to get the adc, then you'll have to follow in behind to use your shield. This puts you in the middle of the enemy team. If you are in the middle of the enemy team and use your shield on Olaf, you're going to get blown up since you now have 0 defense.

Not only that, but who are you going to Q? Just random enemies next to you? That's not going to kill anyone. So while you're waiting for your cooldowns, you're going to be standing there getting beat on for 4+ seconds.

That's another problem with Karma. If you use your shield on an ally, then you can't get close to the enemy. Which means that you can't use your Q. Which cuts your burst damage by a lot.

Contrast this with Lux - who doesn't even have to get close to the enemy team to blow them up.

Karma was designed to be a support for melee range champions- which is why she is considered really bad.

Her value mid is similar to a soraka or jenna or lulu mid.

Her shield is really OP, her W kinda fails, the skill itself is good but nearly no one even knows that it does damage on enemies passing through it.If you speed buff your team mov speed, there will be like WTF? most of the time and be clueless on the skill effect.
The heal on her Q and passive synergy is not seen as something good.If anything she is really unpopular due to that and her W if you ask me.
