Yes, I do know what they are, I've been investing in mutual funds for over 10 years. Mutual funds are ZERO percent cash. You aggregate money with other investors and use the aggregate to purchase investments like stocks, bonds, ETFs, other mutual funds, what have you. How does an investment vehicle that has historically averaged 5-8% annual interest rates manage to keep cash on hand? rofl l2finance

None of this excuses the fact that you think a trust fund is 100% cash. Trust funds are not cash. What is the point of a trust fund, if you aren't deriving income from it? What do you think trust funds are, the equivalent of a bank account?
