Hey, I rush Athenes a lot of times. Oh, and I also build Manamune on some champs.
Don't be a hater

Just said not to build it on AD carry.

4) Don't go flash ignite. Ever. And don't even think of clarity.

5) Use barrier.

7) Rush AD items when playing an AD carry. No, Phantom Dancer is not an AD item.

8) Don't build Manamune on AD carry. Just don't.

9) Don't rush Morello or Grail as AP carry. Get Deathcap and do actual damage.

13) Stop picking Karthus, Zilean, Gangplank, Mundo, Ryze, Teemo, Annie, Shaco...

14) ... Pick Sona
4) Ignite is a perfectly fine summoner spell when the other team has multiple heals/Mundo/Yi/Sion.

5) Rather than generalizing change this into "Look at the enemy team and choose your summoners accordingly." This has already been mentioned before.

7) Vayne would like a word with you.

8) Tear works surprisingly well on Ashe.

9) Rushing Athene on Orianna, Ahri, <insert mana hungry champion>, is perfectly fine.

13) Karthus, Zilean, Mundo, Ryze, Teemo are viable picks. GP, Annie (especially her with aoe stuns), Shaco are more niche but are hardly bad either.

14) Sona is strong but so are other "supports". Again overgeneralization.

This list has some helpful advice but clearly needs a lot of work.
