tl;dr: flood of new Olaf players, not his nerfs, account for the lower winrate.
wasnt that huge?

they nerfed 95% of his kit

what is huge to you? :/

Olaf is still good, LoLKing doesnt give accurate stats in regards to winrate, its been told by riot.

Same thing happened to Ezreal, people were thinking he was UP, and told Riot about his low "lolking" winrate and then riot said that Koreans use him very well, then Koreans happened in Tournaments and Ezreal suddenly became OP.

Riot has said that LoLKing doesnt take into account all games from all regions, you can search for their post, its in this forum.

Look at Ezreal as the perfect example pre-Koreans. People thinking he was UP here, but he was extremely powerful in Korea, NA and EU used LoLKing as their UP excuse, then Koreans happened and ez became OP.

Different regions have different good champions, winrate doesnt accurately reflect that.

With any normal brusier you have to build a mix of different stats to have any kind of significant impact. What do you have to build with Olaf to be relevant?? Health, health, health, and more health! With how powerful health has become as the dominant means to mitigate damage and how strong he already was, I'm not surprised he got hit a little bit.

NA and EU almost always have same win rates since their meta is the same

Btw, Ezreal became OP because of Pulsefire release, not because of Koreans.

How? A skin is not a buff.

Ezreal became OP because a huge round of buffs.

I gotta love the instant-gratification people citing winrate after a day or two (not to mention weekend play which is notorious for poor quality games).

But the Korean meta is different and involves different champions, Riot has to think about that too when balancing.

Ezreal didnt only become OP because of buffs, its also because people saw how Koreans used him and started finally learning how to use him themselves.

Koreans are way more Innovative with champions and compositions and train more which is why they win gaming championships, they also think about the game as an actual sport instead of something thats just for fun.
