So what I want to know is if it is possible to have the game on the external because looking at the pkg file you can't install into a different location...... or a different location during installation! So I want to know if someone can add it

Because my macbook air only has 64 gb and i have this huge external I want to run the LOL client from!

According to this Riot post < link (http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?p=33819522#33819522) > they plan on releasing the client packed in a dmg (presumably as an app to drag to Application or a folder of your choosing) but that probably won't happen until they move on from the Public Beta Environment and into open beta.

I would think someone would make a work around? I should have mentioned it!

For the time being, it will only install into the Applications folder.

For release however, we'll be going with a drag and drop style dmg

Awesome. Very nice to hear. I like to install my games on my secondary drive and save my SSD just for the OS.
