If you lose a lot of LP, it means the system believes you should've won that match. Probably because there was a high elo player on your team.

If you win a lot pf LP, it means the system believed you should've lost, and so it rewarded you more. Due to collective elo on the enemy team being higher than yours.

It tries to balance it but if there isn't a favorable match-up it'll go to a slightly lesser favorable one.

Touche good sir.

My friend and I can't stomach to play like this. Even if you somehow, magically manage to win ten games in a row, one loss takes you down like FOUR wins' worth. We can't control who we get on our team, so what's the point? Normals are less stressful.

the alternative is very very long queues where matchmaking just sits there until it can make perfectly balanced matches, people would complain a lot more about that
