Goth Annie, why should you be able to get her for cheaper?

goth annie's value is not 3900 rp.

Goth annie's value, mathematically speaking, is something like 390 rp. Plus a bunch of rp due to the bundle containing several champions and a pile of rp on it's own.

hey look!

Someone with a brain!

I think your reading too much into it.

The TV went back up to the full price, I just happened to catch it on sale. Key word.... sale..... which makes a good example for this case.

That's their own fault for assuming when Riot never said that it was so.

And your OP was downvoted because your analogy is awful. It's not like if I bought a standalone Goth Annie that yours no longer gets black fire, which is what your analogy suggests. I have a better one:

I go out and buy this great "Mancave Special" With a tv, surround sound speakers, stadium seats and as an added bonus, they throw in a free gift, a massage chair, all for $3900! Sweet deal I say, and I buy that and go home with it immediately. My friend already has the tv and speakers and doesn't really want the seats but still wants the massage chair, so he just goes out and buys the massage chair by itself for $975. Does it somehow make my massage chair any worse? Does it somehow take away value from my entire package that I bought? Nope. I should feel happy for my friend because he got what he wanted for a price that he thought was fair, and I got a bunch of stuff at a higher price that happened to include the chair he bought and I got it for free.

Wrong. The bundle was pitched with the idea of the skins being exclusive. You can go read the original thread from 2009. It specifically says that the skins are EXCLUSIVE to the bundle.

It's made by Riot and Riot can change that if they want to. Something exclusive several years ago doesn't necessarily have to be exclusive in the future.

It's also only available for like a week. Cry more.

Then why call it exclusive at all?

Exclusion isn't something that can never change.

Exceptions are always possible.

Being made available for another week doesn't change that it's "EXCLUSIVE."

It just means it's exclusive to some more people.

Wrong. It says "...when and where you purchase the bundle...1 of 2 exclusive skins."

When is a time constraint, therefore Riot can deem the time constraint on the exclusivity has expired and the skins are now open to the public without requiring the bundle.

Also, exclusive doesn't change because it's not with the bundle, if it's exclusively going to be sold outside the bundle for a short window of time, and then going back to bundle-only. It would still be an exclusive skin if following this protocol.

You just got lawyered up, son.

If I got a refund for goth Annie I wouldn't care if others got it for free.

but since I paid for it they should pay for it. Why lower price for the jews?

ok now... I'm going to explain this clear and simple with LOGIC based off of the new solution King Hippo is considering implimentation.

Jon and Bill both want Goth Annie

Jon is a new player to the game and does not own any champions, he buys the bundle for 3900 RP

Bill is a seasoned veteran, and owns all 20 champions listed, but he still wants the skin.

If Bill buys the bundle, he will not get the same value that Jon got from buying the bundle, as you can not own the same champion two times over.

So essentially, this issue is not getting fair treatment as the reward for the bundle purchase is a variable result while the cost is a constant.

Now there are two solutions to the problem, 1: Make Goth Annie an individual purchase, if only for a limited time. or 2. Adjust the price of the bundle to compensate for any champions bought.

Option 1 was the first attempted plan, and led to a bunch of people calling foul over the fact they bought the bundle for the skin, and it is not fair that they had to shell out a lot of money while a new person shells out significantly less. money for the skin, but no champions.

Option 2 is a win for everyone as people cannot complain it is not "bundle exclusive" anymore and people don't have to pay out the tailend just for a single skin

Here's an example:

Man #1 goes into McDonalds around December. The cashier informs him they're offering the McRib for a limited time. He buys a McRib Combo for $6.50.

One Year Later: Man #2 enters a McDonalds. He asks for a McRib. The cashier asks him if he wants the combo, and he says "Can I just get the sandwich?" "Sure that'll be $4."

Suddenly, Man #1 flys through the door screaming at the top of his lungs "You told me it was limited!!!!!!" and smacks the money out of Man #2's hands. Man #1 proceeds to make a huge fuss, that even if the McRib isn't going to be limited, Man #2 should have to buy the full combo. After 5 minutes of arguing, Man #2 just gets a big mac while Man #1 glares at him smugly.
