Why Goth Annie should not be sold seperately.

Anyone who bought the digital collectors pack technically got the Goth Annie skin for free in addition to a bunch of champs for their money.

Technically, no they didn't. They paid 3900 RP for everything that came bundled in that pack, including Goth Annie.

It's called a bundle for a reason. The total RP cost of all those champs was well over 3900 RP. Like all the collectors skins (Black Alistar, Human Ryze, Silver Kayle), Goth Annie came as an added bonus to a purchase. It's technically a gift on top of that bundle purchase.

It's not that complicated.

It's called incentive for a reason.

Simply playing the game would unlock all of the content in the bundle, however you know how when games have Collector's Edition bonuses with, and here's that darned word again, EXCLUSIVE content that you can only get if you buy the shiny expensive version of the game? The exclusive content could be things like new maps, a new in-game weapon or costume, or even a T-shirt. You're still buying the game, but now you get these cool incentives for going that extra mile. It makes you feel good about your purchase and overall about your contribution to the game.

That's what buying the collector's edition is, it's purchasing the game. You now start the game with 20 champions, some crappy runes, $10 dollars of in-game store cash, and a skin that is EXCLUSIVE to those who bought the pack.

Basically this.

The difference between exclusive and limited:

In Pokemon Red, Ekans is an EXCLUSIVE Pokemon. You cannot catch him in Pokemon Blue.

Mewtwo is a LIMITED Pokemon, only one per game.

Ekans= Goth Annie

Pokemon Red = Digital Collector's Pack

Pokemon Blue = No Pack

Ekans cannot be caught in Pokemon Blue

It doesn't matter what the total price of the individual champs was, we didn't buy the individual champs, we bought a "collectors pack" and goth annie was part of what we PAID for. It wasn't a bonus, it wasn't a free gift. We paid for that skin in the price of the pack.

Some of us don't have $30 to throw around for the sake of a single skin. Some of us already have most of the champs included in the bundle. Some of us don't need any more runes. Some of us don't care enough about the other champs with exclusive skins to bother playing them.

If you don't have $30 to throw around, why not add $10 to your account one week, $5 the next, $5 the next and then $10. It's not hard... If you want it, buy it. It might take a while but then you will have it, Plus if you don't own ALL the champions in the bundle then you are still saving money as you still get $10 RP BACK and x amount of champions for free and a RARE skin... I fail to see your logic..

I wasn't even aware goth annie or the bundle existed til a few weeks ago, I would have bought it before I owned 90% of those champions. Quit being immature little kids, seriously.

^ People will always complain when they want something.

V It's exclusive to the bundle right now.

For people who don't know what exclusive means here you go.

Excluding or tending to exclude: exclusive barriers.
Not allowing something else; incompatible: mutually exclusive conditions.
Not divided or shared with others: exclusive publishing rights.
Not accompanied by others; single or sole: your exclusive function.
Complete; undivided: gained their exclusive attention.
Not including the specified extremes or limits, but only the area between them: 20-25, exclusive; that is, 21, 22, 23 and 24.
Excluding some or most, as from membership or participation: an exclusive club.
Catering to a wealthy clientele; expensive: exclusive shops.
Linguistics Of, relating to, or being a first person plural pronoun that excludes the addressee, such as we in the sentence Chris and I will be in town tomorrow, so we can stop by your office.

NOUN:

A news item initially released to only one publication or broadcaster.
An exclusive right or privilege, as to market a product.

You're complaining now yourself, aren't you? Because it was going to be released separate from the bundle? You want it to stay as it is?

I'm disappointed they retracted the sale after they had announced it. Everyone was hyped up over nothing.

I proposed a solution that should make both sides happy here: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=3065212
