We are better without it.

That statistic only counts if it's in the inventory at the end of the game, and the odds of that happening are incredibly low. Not only that, but with the millions of bot games happening, no one ever buys oracles, so the data is kind of skewed there.

Doesn't anybody remember the days of counterjungle Nunu?

A Nunu that got a philly stone and oracle's on his first time back is the biggest ****** in the game.

Yes and no.
The problem here is not oracles or wards, the problem is WHO has to spend gold on those.
Even though mid and top tend to ward every now and then their lane, the roles that need to spend their already limited cash on these things are support and jungler.
Now, as a support, it was VERY frustrating that the little incomes you make meant nothing after a tanky jungler got an early oracles. So they gave them sightstone.
Now, as a jungler, the ammount of wards in game is dumb, ganking bot lane is the hardest thing to do since you can have permawarded the river, tribush and lane bush. Unless you are Nocturne it is hard as hell. And 400 every 5 minutes is not viable.
They need to re think either sightsone or oracles.

This is why people need to understand that they've got no clue how to interpret lolking stats.

You're not using your brain.

If its gonna last for only 4 minutes, you should be able to keep it after death.

I just made a rough average. It's ranging from 0.11%-0.14%.

Think about how lolking acquires data on items.

Now think about how this thread should never have been created.

it did allow one team to be way too snowbally by building it early game. but late game its kind of a joke and it basically prevents the support from being able to build any more items since they have to buy it every 4 minutes.

maybe just make the item available once baron spawns? or after 20 minutes or so? that way it stops early game advantage from snowballing
Or maybe we can make it permanent once baron spawns, this way it's still an option beforehand as well.

I kinda like this idea.
