Especially when you consider the addition of Slowresist, so any slow over 30% or so doesn't eliminate his passive entirely.

S3 was actually a buff to his Passive.

Also, his base damage and AD/lvl were increased in the preseason 3 patch SPECIFICALLY to address this.

Aside from his E working pretty randomly he's quite fun and can be pretty powerful, but to be a great champ you need reliability in his kit.

If you can't master one of his skill (do to randomness), specially his gank skill, then you wont see a ton of him, that's about it.

He's unpopular because carry junglers still don't work in S3.

he's a late game champ. so his early game is lacking and a lot of games in normals and solo queues are decided in early game. he's amazing once you pick up a couple items on him but until that point his behind other junglers in usefulness for a team.

I'm not sure what glitches they're talking about, but there are a few level/AD ranges where using it in combat actually decreases your DPS because the instantaneous damage is lower than just a normal auto.

Makes it somewhat awkward from about levels 11-15.
