Im just saying that, if a player on either one of the team leaves, then the team shouldnt have their elo deducted since it will be a uneven game. The player that leaves should be the only one to have their elo deducted. The winning team should still gain the elo, but the losing team shouldnt.

people would use this to cheat. they would get a friend to play on a smurf account and if they win great. if not have the smurf leave so he dont lose elo.

In the end, it all balances out. Sometimes the quitter is on your side, sometimes it's on the other side. Statistically it will average out. If you're seeing a slant toward or against you, then your data sample is too small and you need to play more games.
