It be different and nice to have a draft pick game, were you are trapped in your lane til either you get the enemys tower down or they get yours down first then you can leave your lane to go help your allys. Only one who can go to other lanes and gank til all first towers are down is your jungle. Jungles start out with a bonus item or buff so they can move fast threw the jungle farming. could be a interesting game mode to try out.

So Summoner's Rift, but without any sort of creative alternate strategies and a set metagame?

nope, didn't say what map. could be a who different kind of map. even with individual quest s to complete for bonus's..

Its a random part of an idea? If you get a kill in your lane you get a buff and a teleport to another lane of yoru choose for so long then it ports you back..

hmm neatish but you need to flesh it out more in your main post, otherwise you'll just get criticized, And as for you 5lacker, give it a shot, it is an idea and it deserves the respect any other concept in its infant stages deserve, just because his other post doesn't belong here doesn't mean you should instantly dismiss anything he does.

I gave it a shot. What he is suggesting is a game mode with no ganks, no creative strategies, and a metagame that's artificially mandated by Riot to limit champions to lanes. Plus, how do you choose who's the "jungler?" What if you get randomly slapped into a lane that you aren't good in?

I gave it significantly more thought than the OP and concluded that it is, by all accounts, a TERRIBLE idea.

What 5lacker means is that this map is - no matter its structure - horribly rigid in how you are able to play it ("set metagame&quot.

The restriction of freedom to gank, move from lane to lane etc. would mean that existing maps - Summoners Rift, for example - would be picked 99 times out of 100. Simply adding bonuses etc. is a mixed bag, but there wouldn't be enough 'compensation' for locking people into their lanes.

How you're going to implement it in code would also be a nightmare for the development team.

Eh, I don't care for the whole meta thing really. Don't always need a jungler.
In any case, this map idea seems like it would be a paradise for pusher types. Without fear of gankage, pushers can go as far as they want without much consequence. Sivir and Mordekaiser come to mind.
Kill lanes probably be more prevalent, although the whole babysitting Support for an ADC can still work. Really, I don't see much of a difference really, at least for early game.
Besides, how would you keep the losing side in lane once the door is open for the winner? It feels like they could just follow once it opens.
