Preferably Teemo goes mid, while nidalee goes top, although it could go vice versa.

Teemo plants shrooms everywhere, nidalee places traps right on top. Theres a ton of damage from shrooms, the enemy is sighted for a long time, and their MR is reduced from nidalees traps which makes Teemo's shrooms do more.

Maybe add cait or shaco for more trap power.

Thoughts on this combo?

Would be weak in team fights, that would be my only worry.

Nid traps are visible by enemy team. Also, reducing effectiveness of shrooms/traps by 1/2 since they are often used as wards/early detection system

Nidalee spears are good for poking before a teamfight, but aren't as effective during.

Teemo has very low range, an ok kiting ability, and is primarily used as a counter during the laning phase,so his real effectiveness would be determined by whether or not he shut down the bruiser that was top, otherwise they would be contributing far more to the teamfight than him.

That said, on top of the fact that nid traps would notify the enemy team where teemo's shrooms are located and that to stack the traps during the laning phase anyway would result in a considerable amount of time spent away from both lanes, it doesn't appear to be very practical.
