Health is kinda broken right now ... didn't you get the memo?

new pen calculations plus a decrease in health's average price and an increase in resistances prices makes high HP items like warmog's and really anything that builds out of giant's belt the new "go to" items to get tanky in a pinch.

the nerf is trying to address this.

Yeah it's a cost efficient for one of the best stat right now, and it builds into some of the best items lategame.

I still don't like the way the APen is calculated.

Health really wasn't re-adjusted into season 3 like armor and magic resistance. With it's current pricing, it's so much more effective to pick up than resistances (not to mention un-mitigated by penetrations - which have received a significant buff) that armor and magic resistance have almost become obsolete, which is a little depressing in terms of counter-building, as you're more likely to pick up the same defensive items now every game - one with health.

Resistances could see a more prominent roll if health benefits were lowered, as there would be decisions to be made over what items to grab based on the enemy - and something nerfing Gian'ts Belt could potentially accomplish, seeing as it's the go-to component for big chunks of health.
