I am all for a stance/weapon swapping mechanic, like this:

Base range: 475-525

Q - Pistol & Knife:
Activation: Next basic attack to a target close to you (<200 range) does a lot of extra damage.
Persistent: Bonus Movement Speed

W - Rifle:
Activation: Skillshot.
Persistent: Bonus range

E - Fast-firing Gun / Revolving Rifle:
Activation: Damage + Slow in a cone in front of you
Persistent: Extra AS, slight range bonus?

R - Grenade Launcher / Rocket Launcher:
Activation: AoE Skillshot, quite some range, maybe some CC?
Persistent: slightly lowered AS, splash damage on attacks

Probably one that lets you manover the actual firing part of him, similar to how Ori's ball cast her spells. Could give 250 cast range, 200-400 attack range, and can stay up to 450 range from the carry (giving it a grand total possible range of 750 at max).

His Q would be the positioning skill of this "turret"

W could be him laying a trap skill that is like nida trap, but only 1 sec of vision as they hit it. Could be forced to either cast from the turret, or him, either works.

E could be something along the line of a decent AS boost, or a skill that lets him, similar to Ori, attach it to an ally. Although it wouldn't grant any extra defenses, and would instead give him a longer range on his skill, and bonus offensive stats to the person he put it on (a %age of his).

R could be him calling a fleet of these "turrets" that are half effective, but has 2 extra in front of/around him. They could either be told to focus one target with a secondary R cast, or allowed to naturally target, with champ prioritization.

Passive could be something along the lines of the more times he attacks a target, the longer the range his turret(s) get vs that target, resetting on target change.

Pretty much I want an Orianna of ADCs.
