Computer crashes since latest patch

Since the latest patch, I haven't been able to complete a full game. The client starts up and logs in just fine, the matchmaking and queue are fine, the game will even start and is usually fine for about 10 minutes. It's usually around 10 minutes in that my entire computer freezes. Can't ctrl-alt-del out of program, no blue screen of death, just a frozen screen in the middle of the game. When I restart my computer and load the game back up, I connect to it fine but in another 5-10 minutes it freezes again. Never experienced this issue before.

Is it possible this is due to the patch? I play other games just fine. Last night, played Borderlands 2 online with a friend for 8 hours straight with no issues. How do I troubleshoot this?

I'm seeing this exact behaviour too. For me the graphics go a bit weird just before the crash. Didn't see this issue before the patch, seen it both when playing games and spectating games since the patch. :-(

Same here. Game was running fine then game just froze. Had to turn the whole computer off and on again. (In which time we lost) and then it just wouldn't open again. Had played 4-5 bot games before this one just fine. First ACTUAL game this. Please help Riot

Exact same thing has happened to me every game regardless of setting changes. I benchmarked my rig on Skyrim last night and it was fine. It is ABSOLUTELY the LoL client.

I'm not certain what is causing it as I'm not an expert on Windows logging procedures, but I noted that it doesn't seem to indicate a critical failure outside of the incorrect shutdown when you have to power down manually.

even though updated everything on my pc but still, using amd 6990 which is way too good for league but still pc crashing whenever i log

FWIW - I found out that on my machine, the version of Adobe AIR that I was running was quite old (2.x something vs the current version which is 3.x something). I've updated Adobe AIR to the most recent version (and update my NVidia drivers although they were not particularly old). I've since spectated a couple of matches with no issues. I'll play some games tonight and report back on the outcome.

The adobe air update is a good idea, as is updating your graphics drivers if they aren't already up to date.
