Just got done tossing away some old runes. Got two movepeed quints and a scaling health regen quint so that was amazing. I still feel this system could be better. You are essentially hoping that you RNG a good quint and not get a rune of lesser value than you combined. I feel riot should make it so if you combine runes you actually get runes of equal or lessor cost of your choice. Say you combine an 820 and a 205 well than you can get an 1025 value rune or less. That's fair because all you did was swap 2 runes for a different one you actually needed. Yes it would be harder to combine two 205 runes and hope you get a 2050 but at the same time wouldn't it be better to know what you are getting out of it?
