Idea for sunfire buff

Well my idea is the damage to become true damage per second

Maybe to lower the damage something like 20 or 30 true damage per second

The damage stay unique and all good

Because right now sunfire deal 42 magic damage the enemy have 80 mr? he only deal 10 damage..

Plus right now randuims is way better and give better stuff from sunfire for 600g more

So what you people think?

Not really close. 80 mr is about 44% magical damage reduction. That lowers sunfire damage down to 26 damage compared to the suggested 10 damage.

I think sunfire damage should be upgradable ala Dagon.

Garen never truly recovered from that day...

He still has nightmares.

Sunfire is actually 40 magic dmg per second, so it becomes 22 magic dmg vs 80 MR, which is more than the suggested 20 true damage. However, most people that want to grab sunfire usually have some Mpen in either runes or masteries.

To the OP, 40 magic dmg may not seem like a lot, but when its hitting 5 people, thats 200 raw DPS before resistances. Thats alot.

It pretty much never hits 5 people, yes on occasion but pretty much never.

It doesn't need a buff because people who buy it are tanks, they utilize the armor/health more than anything. Amumu for example, he just stuns while the lane his ganking does the damage(amumu does mad damage anyway.). The 40 Magic dmage is just a bonus on the tankyness it offers.

Actually, the people who get Sunfire are basically every tanky jungler. (amumu, xin zhao, maokai)
