What I would like to see for the aram queue is how dota2 does their random draft. You get 3 random champs to chose from and don't get to see anyone eases until you're in game.

so basically the game gives you the option to choose between 3 random champions.

I like that idea :3

Well, that's actually not how dota does random. If you random in dota you get a random champion locked in. For a portion of your starting gold, you can re-roll that champion.

What the OP is referring to is -sd, or single draft. Under those rules, every player in the game gets randomed 3 champions, one of each archetype (tank, mage, auto attack damager (so assassin/adc)). Each player picks, and the game goes on as normal.

And yes, -sd is pretty fun.

Wouldn't work in LoL, since champs are locked until you buy them. They would need to have 15 free champs for new players to pick from, or allow players to get randomed champs they don't own (Riot won't do it. Ever).

Gotta love free to "play" games.

actually it can work if you just keep it simple... you get to choose between 3 random champions (the role doesn't matter)

this is probably one of the best ideas do deal with dodgers
