soo useless end game...

why is there an endgame mage version (morellonomicon), but for us ad's we got a deadend item... =S

n e suggestions or other opinions?

There are many items like this. Why isn't there an item that gives 100 magic resist and reflects 30% of damage back as attack damage?

It wouldn't be fun if each role was a carbon copy of each other.

this item is far from weak, its just situational. true, the enemy carry might not even notice you have it, but this item is anti mundo/ any other mass heal champion. combine that with its low cost and you have a good item. a little dissapointed that they removed the life steal from it though.

This item lets you shut down Mundo, Fiddlesticks very easily. If it was better, it would be a bit OP. It does it's job at applying Wounds at least.

Because the effect only lasts 1.5 seconds, you'd have to be auto attacking regularly for it to be most effective.

As an AD auto attacker, you should not be focusing Mundo or Fids or Swain. Additionally, it's stats aren't that good on an ADC. There's no point in the game when it would be beneficial to have this item than something else.

Morellonomicon actually offers decent stats for an AP carry.

I sort of fell it's useless in general now.

At least in Season 2 the healing debuff lasted for 8 seconds (and only with a 20 second cooldown) so you could actually place it on sustained healing champions and mitigate most of their healing - while you could kite or be CCed during that. Also, in season 2 it offered plenty of life steal and you could stack it to reach rather absurd levels of life steal pretty fast - which was handy for auto-attackers like Fiora and Jax in modes like Dominion. For less money than a Bloodthirster you got 36 life steal and 30% critical strike chance, which wasn't bad.

I mean, with the 1.5 second duration you have to pretty much constantly attack champions to mitigate healing, which only really makes it useful against spell vamp and life steal. You can't even afford it until most of the lanning phase is over now as well, so it's not even great at preventing clutch support heals when it could really count for something.
