Vargoth's Apothacary

Wess seemingly calmed down when she was satisfied her eyes had returned to normal and approached the two men. "I can help you if you need help cause the way it appears you two are not exactly the type that can sneak by people."

Preserver Base- Well of Souls

Kane had read the report numerous times. It seemed that the trade sanctions Demacia imposed to prevent the league from launching an expedition had failed. No matter, he thought it would prove an interesting development from his current affairs. His information told him that Yoshi was amongst the expedition crew but it mattered naught. Kane thought little of his mission five years ago, hallmarking the true virtue of being a nameless: Complete and utter devotion to Demacia and its causes. He rose from his desk and exited his room, ascending a spiraling staircase before reaching the a top of a smooth stone platform. Kane walked to the edge of this platform after surmounting the stairs and looked over the railing into a seemingly endless pit. Preserver researchers had taken to calling it a soul well as from it poured tremendous amounts of necrotic energy that fed the surrounding lands. It explained why the Shadow Isles were as they are now and some researchers even speculated that the soul well was a portal into the very realm of death itself. Kane did not believe the latter but could see a faint glimmer of green within the abysses depths. Kane had the odd feeling that it was staring at him. Quickly he looked beyond the abyssal chasm into the lifeless fields of the Shadow Isles, From his vantage point atop the Preserver base he could see the land running rife with a perverse unlife. The trees and plants were but ghosts that whispered their flutterings upon the wind. The wildlife was however an even odder mix. He could see that some where undead horrors, born from an amalgam of corpses and still others were specters that only appeared as smog in the wind.

It had been hard securing a foothold in the Shadow Isles, three years of planning and constant vigilance against this lands many terrors had been fruitful with time, but now it seemed a new danger was coming to jeopardize Kane's mission and he was more than prepared to combat it.

Kog'maw perked his antennae up just as the faint sound of movement echoed across the cavern. Kog'maw turned around in time to see a distortion in the space upon the roof of a distant building. A shrill hiss reverberated from there before the invisible creature moved out of Kog'maw's sight.

"Uh ohs."
Kog'maw mumbled as he ran between the two statues and inside the building.

At the sound of the hiss, Geokhan's blade was in hand and he was about to call to Kog'Maw when he heard Kog'Maw murmur and scamper off.

"Well...This can't be good. Ordimar, do you see... it? Whatever the hell it is? Better yet, ya got a light?"

Geokhan walks backwards towards where he last heard Kog'Maw's feet scamper, his blade in front of him not offering much protection for the blind man, but it offered some mental confidence.

"I'm not sure but..." Cato stopped as footsteps pounded the floorboards above them. He began again as the sound faded out of hearing. "but we need to find something to eat at least. We can worry about where we are going later. Since I had the first watch could you search for a small something? You were always much better at stealth than I ever was."
Mallory nodded in agreement.

"Very well then. Get your rest, you probably need it. I will search whatever I can find. I'm not sure what else is here, but I know this is Gangplank's ship. What could they be doing? They must have someone related to the Shadow Isles..."

Mallory tried her best to camo herself. But with very little there, aside from a few barrels, there was nothing. She tied her hair in a long braid, just so nobody can spot her blonde hair. She tipped her cowboy hat back on her head comfortably, and left the cabin.

The slow but stealthily way to the deck was a hard one, making no noise, she tested every step to make sure it wasn't creaky, but she stuck the the walls, if she could see them. It was so dark, it made her claustrophobic. After what seemed like hours of wandering around, she finally felt the knob for the trap door to the Deck. Slowly opening it, she made sure not to make it creak, as it was wood. The cheering and talking of the people, the fresh air and the seagulls refreshed her.

The Deck of the Deadpool

"Ugh..." she felt seasick. She held it all in, as well as she could, and quickly crouched, making her way to a barrel. She waited for crew to pass by before she made her move again. She was right next to the captains cabin where she overheard a man in armor and Captain Gangplank talking about breakfast.

Their talk dragged her spirits down. No breakfast?

She had to find some somewhere. She waited behind the barrel for some time. Waiting for anything for clues as to where some food might be. Their survival in on this boat is essential.

((Oh. We're near to the Shadow Isles?

Oh and I decided to redo Yoshi. Titus Flavius and Yoshi are officially split with one in the Maelstrom forums and the other staying here.))

If it's something temporal...well...obviously it has to do with time, Elise. But I still don't really know.

Yoshi was silent before continuing.

The universe is made of strings and strings can be anything. I can't simply say that it's the problem and it's solved. I have to get in it. If I can find the properties of the dimension through strings, then I can solve the Quarantine Zone. Simple as that.

Arlanx looked at the young man and the young girl. They wanted to save that man named Anayo, he had seemed trustworthy enough, but he had lost it when they wanted to ask him questions. Though, the journal would probably be all that the Sinister Blade needs. "You two may be right." Arlanx finally said, he closed the journal. Stood up and towered over the nearby medics. "We've been medically cleared. I have important intel to give commander Katarina. I'll be taking these two with me." He points to the young girl and the summoner. the mercenary grabs his shields and puts them on his back. He puts on his noxian mercenary badge where the attending guards can see it. "C'mon" he says to the two youngsters.

When he arrives at the quarantining guards he makes the same report he did to the medics. "We three have been medically cleared. I have discovered important intelligence that I need to report at the Noxian High Command. I will escort these two there now."

Shurima Desert - Subterranean Caverns

This cavern seemed never ending, and the ruins were slightly unnerving. The depths, below the desert were unnaturally cold and exhausting for all except probably Kog' Maw. The voidspawn was surprisingly resilient.

When the creature hurried off after announcing a warning in his alien tongue, voicing "Uh ohs!" For both he and Geo to hear, Ordimar unsheathed his deadly blade, crouching and diving to a shattered pillar nearby. It was careless of him to not notice until now that the cavern had gradually become more and more a ruined city, or gathering place then anything else. The walls were sturdy, built with concrete and stone pillars opposed to natural rock.

"I don't need light, but I don't see anything. The dark is more friend to this stranger than it is to me." Ordimar said, he turned back and glared at Geokhan. "Be on your guard. If you are truly attune with the earth, I suggest you use it now. This place is dead, ancient, and forgotten to man. It won't be just anyone or anything we bump into in these ruins."

((oh ****, I really thought best friend might of been little Tho'go. This is unexpected... and a little scary.))

"Ugh... stuck doing manual labor." muttered Maldras as he fumbled with the tow lines. He had no idea how to operate any part of a ship. He struggled with the tow lines for ten minutes, his inexperience drawing annoyed looks from nearby sailors.

Shurima Desert - Subterranean Caverns

As Ordimar and Geokhan took position in front of the entrance to the building, backing up slowly. They turned however when a loud crash issued from an adjacent wall of the building. Then immediately afterward a harsh red light issued from the entrance followed by a startled cry from Kog'maw. The two rushed in to aid their voidborn guide, approaching a grisly sight in what must have once been a library. At the center of the room was a giant pile of ash intermixed with thousands of yordle remains. Ruinous stone broke up parts of the massive chamber with rubble strewn about the floor outside the center mound of ash. As Ordimar and Geokhan came into sight of the top of the ash pile they could see Kog'maw being held up the in air by a terrible creature that was easily larger than a horse. It did not seem to notice Ordimar and Geokhan yet and spoke to Kog'maw in a terrible language that hurt the ears to listen.

"Ahnyth phlegeth hafh'drn gathrii? C'tho'jorm aglnwae fm'latgh mnahn wgaharth grah'n!"

((translates roughly into Why do you have mortal followers? I, Tho'jorm have not waited in this field of darkness only to meet a larva!"))

Upon finishing the beast threw Kog'maw away and looked towards the entrance just as Geokhan and Ordimar stood at the ready. Tho'jorm then seemingly disappeared, with the light being emitted by him ceasing, bathing the area once again in pure darkness.

((Also this is how Tho'go would have been if he didn't leave the void early like Kog'maw. Posting more soon. ))
