System:

Windows 7 64 bit home
2 ghz dual core processor
4 gigs ddr3 ram
Radeon HD 6480G
DirectX11

Background:

Saturday night I was playing LoL for most of the night and was having no issues. Everything was normal, patcher, champ select, everything. Now tonight on Sunday I tried to play and after the champ selection was finished and the countdown ended, the screen went black to go to the loading screen but nothing came up.

I checked task manager and it said LoL wasn't responding. I've restarted, reinstalled, and looked over the common fixes but nothing worked so far.

Any ideas?

TL; DR
After Champ select the screen goes black and LoL shuts down.

I'm having a similar problem, after champ select nothing happened. Tried to restart the the client and still could not reconnect to my game. Even restarted my pc and did a repair install, and still have the same issue.

win 7
2.4 fghz quad core processor
4gig ddr2 ram
nividia 250gt

Same. Select character, game begins, screen closes and................ Nothing. LOL doesn't re open, wont restart, even after I closed all related processes and restarted...... The heck?

but it does not fix the issue, i msged the GM back saying it doesnt work,

Do this:

Find and open the Riot Games/League of Legends folder on your computer

Open the directories in this order: RADS -> solutions -> lol_game_client_sln -> releases

Open the highest numbered version

Open deploy

Open League of Legends.exe (it will iniciate the patcher, but the patcher will not open at the end)

Close everything and try to open the game by the usual way. Give a try at the practice mode, i think the game will work now.
