Master Rhonin



I figured I would try my hand at another character concept. It's been a while, and the game has changed a bit.

Attack Damage: 50 (+5 per lvl)
Ability Power: 0 (+.5 per lvl)
Health:495 (+90 per lvl)
Mana: 300 (+75 per lvl)
Move Speed: 360
Armor: 20 (+4 per lvl)
Magic Resist: 30 (+2.25 per lvl)
Health Regen: 8 (+1 per lvl)
Mana Regen: 7(+.5 per lvl)

Rhonin is an AP Fighter who is designed around wading into the thickest of fights, disrupting enemy positions, and taking/dishing out a lot of damage.

Passive: Duality: His sword channels the powers of both Light and Darkness. Every 3 basic attacks switch between a Light and Darkness debuff. His abilities gain an addition effect depending on which power is active.

Light: Adds a DoT debuff that deals 25/75/125 (+.25 AP) each second for 2 seconds.
Darkness: Applies a 5% slow that lasts for 2 seconds. It stacks 5 times.

Q: Baneful Slash: Rhonin cuts the air in front of him, sending out a wave of energy out in front of him in a cone that deals 65/90/125/175/215 (+.8 AP)

Light: Targets hit by the wave take an addition 25/50/75/100/125 (+.4 AP)
Darkness: Target hit by the wave incur a 35/40/45/50/55% slow for 2 seconds.

Cost: 85/90/100/105/110 Mana
Range: 830
CD: 15 seconds

W: Harbinger of Wrath: Passive: Rhonin's ability power channels a small percent into his physical damage, giving him a additional AD (2.5 AD x .25 AP)

Active: Rhonin unleashes a burst of wrathful energy, dealing 75/95/115/130/145 (+.45 AP) magic damage to surrounding enemies. He loses his physical damage boost until Harbinger of Wrath comes off cooldown.

Light: The energy is infused with a flash of divinity, dealing an additional 50/75/100/115/120 (+.15 AP) magic damage.
Darkness: The energy is infused with a demonic taint, causing all enemies in the AoE to be feared for 2 seconds

Cost: 150/175/200 Mana
Range: 650
CD: 20 seconds

E: Fury Shield: Creates a powerful barrier around Rhonin, increasing his Armor and Magic Resist by 15/20/25/30/35 (+.5 AP).

Light: Enemies who strike Rhonin are blasted by blinding holy energy, causing them to take 25/50/75/100/115 (+.5 AP) magic damage.
Darkness: Enemies who strike are Rhonin harried by demonic taint, slowing their movement and attack speed by 20/35/40% for 2 Seconds.

Cost: 100/175/215 Mana
CD: 30 Seconds

R: Godsplitter's Vengence: Rhonin channels the powers of Darkness and Light simultaneously, causing all his basic attacks and abilities to give off both effects for 10 seconds.

Cost:250/300/325 Mana
CD: 1 Minute, 30 second.

Your stats are bad. Just...all of them. Bad. Base AD is far, far too high, NO CHAMPIONS gain Ap per level and even then, it's only 9 at level 18 which is nothing, Mana is absurdly high, Movement speed is 5 faster than Yi, Armor is outrageously high, MR only scales at 1.25 per level for melee champs, and his Health regen is crazy strong, especially the first few levels. His only two stats that are even remotely balanced are his base Health (Good, but not insane) and his Mana Regen (Again, still good.)

Oh look. A light/dark duality champion. I'm in for a fun time.

A mostly uncontrolled ability switching mechanic. That deals 300 (+50% AP) on hit with one swing and a slow that can't even stack to full before switching with the other. That looks like it was thought through.

80% AP scaling on an ability that isn't blocked by minions is rather potent, but the base ability isn't too bad. Adding either a 50% damage increase or a crazy good slow sends it into OP territory.

I...don't even know what his W's passive does. Does it grant him bonus AD based on his AP? What percent? 25% AP? Kinda broken, but oh well. Active is pretty meh, but a 2 second fear at level 1 is waaaay too much. Mana costs seem to be for his ult.

50% AP scaling onto an Armor and MR scaling. That's...broken on a rather impressive scale. That's potentially an Armor and MR bonus of around 200-300. Isn't that what Yi gets while meditating? 115 (+50% AP) magic damage to anyone who hits you is crazy broken as well. Do you realize how many times AD carries attack per second? 'Cause it's more than one. 40% AS and MS slow is outrageously strong as well.

Ult is...boring. Like, really boring. He just flicks on both halves of his passive. Exciting.

WHELP, so we have a woefully overpowered champion with several missing numbers and the classic flavor of "dude with powers of light and dark" which tastes of teenage fanfic. *sigh*
