Wub - The Spirit of the Slimes

Stats:
TBA

Role:
Wub is a tanky damage soak (encouraged to stack hp) who specializes in being genuinely annoying, as well as game-changing in the proper hands. He can be played in any lane or as a jungler, however he is best suited to bottom lane, where he can soak up damage and create easy opportunities for his lane partner to deal heavy damage - as, by himself, only his q deals damage (unless he runs an enemy under a tower and lets go)

Appearance:
Wub is relatively simple: He is a gelatinous, non-consistently shaped green blob of Yordle proportions with a simple, innocent face, much like a non-cube version of a Slime from Minecraft. He moves by way of scooting (no boots), hopping (boots 1), or a strange form of rolling (boots 2/3), in animations that would likely induce glee just to see. Wub's attacks, much like his run animations, can vary greatly; one attack he could spin his body around to deliver a whack, and another he could simply bash the enemy with his face. An idea for critical strikes could be to throw his entire self forward, hit the enemy, then bounce back a little - All in all, something animators could have a lot of fun with, if they took a positive approach to him.

Personality:
Wub is a happy, bubbly champion who - like a less evil Annie - doesn't realize how the League is using him to their own ends. His quotes will often relate to how things (terrain, grass, river, etc.) feel, while occasionally he will make eccentric slimey noises. He's just so *innocent*... As he annoys the enemy team.

Jokes: (Always open for better ones!)
- "Why does nobody want a hug? They're freeee! ... Humph..." [Genuinely confused sounding] (Wub extends two arm-like masses and grabs the air in front of him huggishly - they phase through each other and back into his body, causing wubbles. He slumps for a moment before bouncing right back into happy]

Taunts: (^)
- [Takes the shape of a nearby champion, prioritizes enemies, wobbles unnaturally] ~ "Woah, I feel weird/stupider..."

Dance: (^)
- [Wub splashes around like water in a bathtub, gleefully tossing pieces of himself up (like his face) rhythmically and catching them, something like juggling. Occasionally/randomly a chunk will smack into another one, bursting and sending goo everywhere, to which Wub will flatten, pull himself together, and happily restart the dance.]

Laugh: (^)
- [Wub rolls around randomly, laughing equally randomly ]

Death: (^)
- "Blurbl?" [Wub explodes violently after a short pause, throwing green goo everywhere]
- "Bwaag!" [Wub explodes violently into green goo, no pause]
- "Gwoor..." [Wub hits the ground with a saddening smack and slowly melts into a puddle]
- "Bwak-" [Wub hits the ground, rolls a short ways, face down, and is still]

-ABILITIES-

Innate - Rubbery
Wub can reactivate his abilities before the duration ends to lob himself up to 250/375/500 units to the cursor. If Wub is forced off via enemy damage, stuns, suppressions, silences, taunts, knock ups, knock backs or Cleanse, Rubbery will not trigger. Snaring or slowing Wub will impart the same effect on any attached champion, and vice versa.

Notes:
- Forced removal does not apply after the first second of his ultimate.

Visual:
Wub will un-stick himself and immediately hurl himself - in varying ways - towards the cursor, elongating a little in travel, then smashing into the target area and wobbling like jello, 'face' structures temporarily bouncing about through his entire body.
Letting the ability expire naturally will simply have the effect curl up into Wub and have him drop to the ground in front of the target. 'Bwob!'

Commentary:
Used to reach targets or run away quickly (at the cost of a fair amount of health and cooldown waiting), a very vital part of the super-mobile hp soak.

Q - Absorb
Wub attaches himself onto a nearby enemy champion or monster, blinding them and dealing 3/4/5/6/7 (+1% per 500 bonus hp) (max: 200 dmg/second on monsters) percent of their maximum hp as magic damage per second while healing himself for 3/4/5/6/7 (+0.01 AP) % of his maximum hp per second. Effect lasts up to 5 seconds. Wub will be forced off if he takes 25% of his missing hp as damage.

Notes:
- Cost: Free!
- Cooldown: Flat 12 seconds
- Range: 250
- Enemy turrets *will* target Wub
- Targetted champion *can* attack Wub

Visual:
Wub slides under the target champion, and appears as a goo-ified version of Taric's passive aura particles, albeit much more obvious. Every second, the targettable circle of goo will pulse and each upwards a little, only to plop back down on the 'exhale'. Forcing him off will cause him to splatter on the ground right next to the champion, from which he'll reform instantly and continue to do whatever he does. If Wub reactivates the ability, he'll pop back into champion form and do a roll-away for his Rubbery animation. 'Bwap!'

Commentary:
Best used when Wub is lower on hp. A very powerful ability, damage-wise: however, sticking on for too long may let the enemy put you in an uncomfortable position. Also, doesn't work on minions, making Fiddlesticks-level sustain unfeasible.

W - Help
Wub attaches himself to a nearby allied champion, absorbing all single-target damage for them for up to five seconds.

Notes:
- Cost: 5% + 20% of Wub's current hp over the duration + any damage target would've taken
- Cooldown: 26/22/18/14/10 seconds
- Range: 300
- AOE damage/cc effects unaffected.
- Damage-over-time effects already applied on the target will not be absorbed

Visual:
Wub lunges, stretches, and wraps himself in a somewhat tall ring around the target's midsection with a vague shield shape at the front, shuddering visibly every time enemies damage him. If forced off via CC, the ring will drop to the ground and pop back into Wub shape at the target's front. Reactivating Help will have the ring snap and fling him around into the Rubbery animation. 'Bwuh!'

Commentary:
All of you 'shield' supports, eat your hearts out!
... Really though, a very dangerous, health-consuming, movement-impairing, self-destructive ability (to you, anyway). I suggest having a lot of hp and hp regen before Helping.
Just imagine the lategame impact, though! It's like giving your carry 3400 bonus hitpoints at the cost of temporarily giving up your annoying damage soak!

E - Annoy
Wub launches himself at an enemy champion, sticking to them for up to three seconds. During this time, the champion will be revealed, silenced, and slowed by 25/30/35/40/45% - this slow decays rapidly after Wub leaves, while other effects are instantly removed. Wub will be forced off if he takes 25% of his remaining hp as damage.

Notes:
- Cost: Initial 5% + 10% of Wub's total hp over the duration
- Cooldown: 18/16/14/12/10 seconds
- Range: 600
- Annoy deals 1 true damage per second
- Affected enemy *can* target Wub
- Slow decays over one second

Visual:
Somewhat like Help, Annoy will have him leap to the target and wrap around their midsection - however, the ring will be much thinner and his face (in a larger blob of goo) will rapidly swing around the champion, distorting the goo-ring outwards whichever way it goes. Forcing him off will cause the ring to snap and have him curl into a little hurt ball on the ground for an instant, while deactivating will cause the face to extend too far outwards towards the cursor, tearing the body off and segwaying into the Rubbery animation. 'Blublblubl'

Commentary:
Your enemies will hate you. Your allies will love you. Your hp bar will scream in agony more often than not. See, this is the reason GA is a reccomended item on Wub.

R - Assimilate
Wub latches onto a nearby enemy champion. If Wub is not forced off with CC during the first second, he will become untargettable and take control of the target for 3/4/5 seconds, able to control movement and basic abilities. During this time, both teams can attack Wub's target, and Wub can use his target's attacks against enemy units. If Wub's target dies while he is attached, he will take 20% of his maximum hp as true damage and become stunned for 1.5 seconds.

Notes:
- Cost: Free!
- Cooldown: 130/100/70 seconds
- Range: 300
- For the duration, turrets will treat a Wub-controlled unit as a member of Wub's team, and will follow normal targeting rules
- Targetted unit - not Wub - becomes attackable for enemy team
- Recoil *can* kill Wub
- If the enemy team/monster/minion deals the finishing blow to Wub's target, the kill will register as Wub's
- If an allied teammate deals the finishing blow to Wub's target, the kill will register as said teammate's.
- If Wub dies to recoil without having recently suffered enemy champion damage, it will count as an execute.
- Channeled abilities will cancel when control fades ~ EX: Drain will stop
- Enemy cooldowns for Wub are instanced ~ EX: Viktor uses Death Ray (10 sec CD), Wub controls Viktor and can immediately use Death Ray to fry Viktor's allies, has his 5-second party, and releases Viktor, who still has 5 seconds of CD on his own Death Ray

Visual:
Wub will violently leap onto the target's head, make sharp, jagged, constantly-shifting shapes with his body for one second, then encompass it, pressing his face above the champion's own. (Hidden passive: when Wub Assimilates an enemy Wub, they will form a bigger Wub with angry eyebrows). Forcing him off during the first second will cause him to snap back into Wub shape and drop him to the ground woozily, killing the target will cause Wub to flail about in the air where they died for a split second before hitting the ground and wobbling about in his stun, and deactivating will simply suck him off the side of the head closest to the cursor and initiate the Rubbery animation. 'Gwrarh!'

Commentary:
This is why you *really* hate Wub. Not because he silences you, not because he blinds you, not even because he's a pocket Shen ult.
No, you hate Wub because he grabs your somewhat fed, out of position ADC, gap-closers into *his* team, Q-E's into yours, then leaps off just as Veigar and Graves eat your poor, poor Ezreal alive. Granted, or Soraka could just silence Wub during his second of complete vulnerability and green goo will splatter everywhere as your team tears the blob apart. It's quite situational, but utterly game-changing when it works. (Just imagine nabbing Leblonk and nuking the living daylights out of their Corki!)

so Flubber then?

Overall the design is kinda flawed. You have versatility but your CC effects are OP and you're never going to be able to use skills in conjunction with each other. There is Anti-synergy and this makes your champion unfun. You can only use one skill at a time and you have to pick which to use. Right now you have him being an OP debuffer that has no ranged skills and has to overcommit in order to do anything. He's going to be too squishy early game to do anything without getting focused and killed outright before he can even do damage.

I don't see him being viable as a jungler since he has no real damage or noticeable sustain. On your Q, 25% of missing hp is going to be every single attack when he has none.

You're pretty much saying "Stack HP, HP, and MORE HP" and then you give him % hp costs...

W is OP since you pretty much make your carry immune and don't give the enemy any counterplay, and this follows the ANTI-FUN design anti-pattern.

E so it deals 3 true damage? hold on lemme just wait a coupl- oh it's already regenerated. 3 sec silence and slow is OP.

R: OP. again with the ANTI-FUN since there is no counterplay and the champ you assimilate pretty much just goes "F*CK" and slams his keyboard into his monitor. You are making yourself immune and making every fight 4vs5 with only 20% hp as a penalty? op.

Right now, NO.

When I saw his name was Wub, I honestly thought his skills would involve dubstep...

Yeah, I never really considered Wub as serious a champion as Heim or Raphael (let ideas out at the same time :x) ~ And I agree with all of your points (except one) entirely: he just wasn't thought out all that well.

The one point I have to object to is smacking him off with his Q active - at lower health, and with the target blinded, I'd say it would be quite hard to knock him off if 25% of his missing hp = 750+. Other than that though, thanks for being so blunt, really helps me see what I messed up on
