Hmm... I never actually caught anything... Alive... Wiz thinks as he marches over the sand, crossing his arms and thinking deeply about how he can possibly catch the fox. I guess I could try and chase her... Though shes famous for her speed... Nym merely shrugged, ignoring Wiz's deep thoughts...

I guess... I could try paralyzing her... Wiz looked at his metal claw, sparks of electricity running between his fingers. But... I never tried to shoot anything that won't hurt anyone... In any case, I guess I'll just improvise when I see her... But where could she be...

Just then, Wiz noticed that after all that walking... He didn't know where Ionia was... Nym sighed, since she wasn't paying attention, she couldn't possibly tell which way they should go either, there was only dust and sand in every direction they looked...

I guess... We should ask for directions... Again...

Twisted Fate checked his pack to ensure he had everything he needed. He had many health and mana potions, rations, sleeping bag, and a canteen of water. He was familiar with off-road travel due to his gypsy days of traveling, and if worse came to worse he could always Destiny to a nearby location to restock and relax. The time constraint didn't bother him much as he could be just about anywhere with Destiny.

Now the question was...where would TF go if he were Ahri. She did seem to like the higher-class living provided to her by the League...but how much attention would a beautiful fox woman attract on the road? Far too much, she would be too easy to tail. So most likely she would have struck off on a less traveled path, but to where? She couldn't go anywhere extremely popular. The entire continent of Valoran could be after her for all she knew. That left the more hostile areas of Valoran, which was still alot of ground to cover.

He took out a crystal ball and began to focus energy into it to receive a foggy picture...now focus on who you want to find. He felt the heat of the sun pounding down on him...a few birds flying around him, and then....cacti.

"How clever" Twisted Fate said as he stowed the crystal ball and made his way to a place where he could rent a horse near the institute.

The clerk looked at him surprised, but Twisted Fate simply inquired,
"Where is the closet outpost in the desert? Ah hear one of them is hostin' a poker tournament." He put some extra gold on the table to make it clear he didn't want to be followed and for the clerk to play along with the act.

The clerk nodded,
"Aye there is one not far from here that ya' can reach if ya' move fast. Are ya' goin' ta' show them how a true cardshark does it?""

Twisted Fate chuckled, "Ya might say that. Ah need to stop any of the younger players from gettin' too big of a head on their shoulders." The clerk merely laughed at this before pointing Twisted Fate toward one of his faster horses.

Twisted Fate thanked the clerk and saddled up. Moments later he began his journey south to the nearest outpost. He went in an unhurried pace until the institute and any spectators were on the distant horizon, and then picked up the horse's pace. Ahri had a head start, but she couldn't be that far ahead. She most likely traveled on foot this way she wouldn't leave a gold trail...unlike Twisted Fate who knew how not to leave one. Furthermore, Ahri most likely had provisions, but may stick closer to the main road in case something went wrong. So the Cardmaster kept an eye on his surroundings for any figures in the distance...particularly those with nine tails.

Rengar had heard the announcement of a hunt, and of the great nine-tailed fox no less. He grinned as he heard the mention of a wish and the title of ultimate hunter, these thing's didnt't mean much to him but he decided he can't turn down a challenge of this magnitude. He hadn't been on a hunt like before though, he'd have to think like a fox to snatch victory. He roared at the thought of the competition and made his way back to his den for supplies.

The hunt is on

Outskirts of the Desert

Pinky was soon full blown speeding along the ground. Its travels had taken him across rough terrain that would've caused the average traveler some trouble, but not Pinky. Being a blob of slippery fruit-flavored slime, the slime trekked towards the desert with little trouble. To make it even harder to be spotted, its color changed to fit the environment. Plus, no one would suspect Pinky as a hunter...who would.

Outskirts of the Desert

"Hmm?"

Godot had reached the desert's outskirts, the hot winds battered down the endless white plains devoid of any life. Frankly, any normal people crossing this desert would need to bring some sort of supplies like water, food...

Attachment 578306

Godot had his cups, coffee packs and his favorite attire for clothes. Nothing about what he wore screamed he could cross the desert safely yet he felt confident he could. What stopped him though, was an interesting sight as he saw a pink glimmer in the distance. His visor zoomed in, spotting Pinky. 'A pink blob is going south...' For a moment Godot just thought about it, then he shrugged and carried on like the gentleman he is.

Nearing the edge of Shurima.

Ahri's speed slowed down and her ears flicked to the side. She looked around curiously; the fox did not know who exactly was participating, nor did she know what some were capable of. However, she did know that she couldn't allow herself to be caught off guard. It would be easy to break into that mindset. Just like the scent of a hunting dog brought feelings of fear, she allowed the same caution to fill her.

Ahri giggled to herself. Well, whoever it was that was lurking here, she had to commend them. Some would have looked towards Ionia, and others would have searched the Institute. If she was stopped just beyond the borders of the Jungle, then all the better. The point between the desert and Kumungu was pockmarked with swampy marshes and thick entanglements of vines. But with the luxury of leafy canopies also came the danger of hidden traps. It was a risk Ahri was willing to take.

Her spirit orb swirled brighter and her pace quickened once again.

[[This is the last post where she'll be in the desert unless confronted.]]

Farther in the Desert.
Elic forgot about the slime. He flew farther in, and was about to decide to leave when he saw some foot prints in the sand. He swoops down, and begins following the tracks. They smelled like fox.
((I really have to switch profiles.))

Ironspike Mountains

Michael Cruciatus and his pet eagle huddled together to bear the freezing winds and the altitude. He has few amount of food to last for three days. The backpack and the eagle's feathers serve as a way to warm himself. On his right hand is his mace as a weaponry. On his left is the white queen from his chessboard.

The eagle passed down an newspaper and points it with its talons of a competition. After reading it, Michael found hope. If he is able to catch Ahri, he can get his life back and possibly friends that he can truly trust.

"Thanks, Spikey. You're a real friend." Michael hugs his pet eagle. The eagle is large enough to carry Michael anywhere. He mounts on his eagle and sets off. Michael and the eagle land on a lower altitude, the environment is now warmer and Michael is able to take off his jacket. Seeing no one that can ambush here, Michael reads the newspaper and the rules of the game itself.

Kevin had heard of the hunt and thought he would prepare early on. He needed an ability that could keep him agile, he sat in his room for hours reviewing league matches before finally deciding what he would copy. He practiced using it to figure out what would happen if he continued using it, hunger. He packed plenty of water and nonperishable foods and set out. He heard many summoners had already caught wind of where the fox would be so he decided to follow the rumors. He walked out the South entrance of the league and took a deep breathe.
"Dark...Frenzy..."
He suddenly ran south with a burst of speed. He would be the winner of this competition.
