wait, does this mean that every third week, one champion from every lower tier will be dropped in price? (i.e. a 4800 to 3150, 3150 to 1350 and so on... or whatever the prices are).

To be honest, I never get champions in the first day of release (I'm just not curious, I guess xD), and I always thought it's logical to make them only be available for RP first week o_O
Like, can't wait - pay. Guess, 90% of players would hate such policy, but meh

This whole thing was designed to get people to spend more RP when a new champion releases.

GJ about this way of thinking, although I think that maybe you will run out of 6300IP champs to decrease =/ I don't think the decreasing IP/RP should be that vast, but overall it's very good job you've done there. Also I believe that by giving more time to the team to work on new champs they will be even more exciting!

Great...because farming 6300 ip with a job wasnt long now i have to spend another week for thresh. i just think this is riots way to get people to buy more rp.

Or they maybe want us to get the new "op" champions as soon as possible by riot points...

450 = 260 = 57% = 15% = 67
1350 = 585 = 43% = 15% = 202
3150 = 790 = 25% = 15% = 472
4800 = 880 = 18% = 15% = 720
6300 = 975 = 15% = 15% (same, duh)

Pricing scale seems a bit off.

450 IP vs 6300 IP
You can buy 14 champions at 450 IP vs 6300 IP

260 RP vs 975 RP
You can buy 3 champions at 260 RP vs 975 RP

67RP vs 975 RP
You can buy 14 champions at 67RP vs 975RP

Math is hard. Scamming people is easy.

Right, because the value of something never depreciates over time.
