How to Zed! (Dom'n Shadow Style)

Since the featured game is a thing...
And I add people if they have questions...
I get this question all the time:
"How to Zed?!"

So, here's how to Zed:
This is for top. and. bot.
(I'm skipping his stats. Look them up yourself. K? k.)

~Summoner Spells:~
Revive -- Key
Ignite -- For extra damage
Exhaust -- If you roll like that
Garrison -- If you need
Cleanse -- Why not
Flash -- If you're daring...


Contempt For The Weak

(Innate): Whenever Zed autoattacks an enemy below 50% health, he deals an additional 6 / 8 / 10% of their maximum health as magic damage. This effect cannot occur on the same target more than once every 10 seconds.

**Great last hitting tool and deals some serious damage**

Razor Shuriken
(Active): Zed and his shadows throw their shurikens, each dealing physical damage to the first enemy they pass through and a lesser amount to enemies thereafter.

Living Shadow: Additional shurikens striking the same enemy deal 50% damage and restore energy.

**Poke, use with your shadow, 3 shadows + this = dead**

Living Shadow
(Passive): Zed's bonus attack damage is increased by a percentage.

(Active): Zed's shadow dashes forward, remaining in place for 4 seconds. Reactivating this ability will cause Zed to switch positions with this shadow.

Zed's shadow will mimic his basic abilities. If both strike the same target Zed regains some energy. Energy can only be restored once per mimicked ability.

**This makes Zed who he is. Throw this mad beast out if you want to: poke with your Q, dodge a skill shot, throw out - > switch - > E, throw out before you ulti for 3 easy shadows**

Shadow Slash
(Active): Zed and his shadows create a burst of shadow, dealing physical damage to nearby enemies.

Zed's slash reduces the cooldown of Living Shadow by 1 second for each enemy struck. His shadows' slashes slow enemies for 1.5 seconds.

Living Shadow: Overlapping Shadow Slashes striking the same enemy deal no additional damage but will incur an increased slow and restore energy.

**This thing freaking hurts. Like... A lot...**

Death Mark
(Active): Zed becomes untargetable and dashes to target enemy champion. Upon arrival, he marks the target for death and spawns a living shadow behind the target. This shadow lasts 4 seconds and mimics Zed's abilities. Reactivating Death Mark will cause Zed to switch positions with this shadow.

After 3 seconds, the mark will detonate, dealing physical damage equal to 100% of Zed's attack damage plus a percentage of all magic and physical damage dealt to the target by Zed and his shadows while the mark was active.

**How to out-perform Talon right here. Leading with a W, R, Q x3, E, AA = dead**

Now lets take a look at...
(Please note that this is how *I* play Zed, not every plausible option for him.)
Summoner's Wrath 1/1 : for summoners
Fury 4/4 : dem AAs
Sorcery 2/4 : CDR is good, but not that good because energy is a thing.
Deadliness 4/4 : AD breh.
Havoc 3/3 : Damage maaaayne.
Weapon Expertise 1/1 : !@#
Brute Force 2/2 : Dem ADs
Sunder 3/3 : !@#
Executioner 1/1 : This. Is. Zed.

Summoner's Resolve 1/1 : Just in case I want cleanse or something... Idk...
Durability 3/4 : Health is always welcome in this house.
Hardiness 2/3 : So is armor.
Resistance 2/3 : And magic resist.

Summoner's Insight 1/1 : REVIVE.

Focus on Armor Pen. and flat AD.
I mix the both as his late game passive is 25% bonus AD.
ArP because yes.

1.28 ArP x 9 = 11.5 ARP
0.43 AD x 9 = 3.87 AD
0.65% CDR x 9 = 5.89% CDR
2.25 AD x 3 = 6.75 AD

This gives you 12 ArP, 11 AD, and 5.89% CDR. Dem assassinos.

(Again, this is how *I* play Zed. I've tested multiple builds and this works out best for me.)

Boots of Speed > Prospector's Blade > 2 Health Pots
Long Sword x 2 -- Brutalizer
Boots of Speed -- Ionian Boots
Long Sword + Pickax -- Last Whisper
Brutalizer + Health Crystal -- Black Cleaver
BF Sword + stuff -- Infinity Edge
Pickax + stuff -- Tiamat + Vampiric Scepter -- Ravenous Hydra
Sell that Prospector's Blade and get one of the following:
Sanguine Blade -- Maw of Malmortious -- Atma's Impaler -- Frozen Mallet

If you're getting wrecked:
By AD: Get Ninja Tabi and Fratma's
By AP: Merc Treads and Maw
If that doesn't work then maybe you don't work. Damage is the most important thing; you cannot sacrifice it for tankiness.

Skill Order:
R > Q > E > W
R = Ulti -- muy importante
Q = Poke; doesn't consume poop ton of energy like E; Damage
E = Hits hard, but energy hungry -- save for late game
W = Late game

1.) If you want to poke, throw your Q. For an even better poke, Throw your W then Q for TWO!!!

2.) Use your shadows to juke!! For example: It's a warm summer day and OMGJAXWTF jumps to you. Good thing you saw this coming and threw out your W and tele'd away. You then throw out your Qx2 on him and wait for his stun to go home. Following, you ulti and E and blahblahdetailsyouwin.

3.) You can interrupt turret captures with your W Q combo

4.) When initiating, start with your W AND THEN ulti. You'll have Qx3 and 2 shadows to use at your disposal.

5.) If you're having trouble landing all of your Q's, remember that each one points towards your cursor. If your cursor is sitting on your target, the Q's will go towards your target.

6.) If you're being chased, use your W to get away and use your E instantly to slow them. Then, throw your Qx2 at them.

Zed is strong. Also, you won't be good at Zed your 1st time unless you're A12MO12. But he's a jellyneck. Don't be a jellyneck.

this jellyneck is decent with zed
