Playing at a LAN center is for the social interaction. Finding new friends and having a good time.

lets look at your points and compare it to something kind of similar. like a BAR, but not a CLUB

You have to drive to the bar you want to go to.
You most likely have beer at home, but still go to a bar to pay higher prices...

as for the 3rd point. Most people are more outgoing and trolling online then they are in person. I doubt you have ever played in a LAN tournament, but it is so silent. the only thing you hear is the clicking of the keyboard and mouse.

LAN games are more about playing with people that enjoy the same thing. you also get a nice adrenaline rush when playing on LAN.

also don't knock it till you try it.

You guys should hold some meet n greet event @ the k town pc cafes because of all the korean bbq places nearby and who doesn't like korean bbq? best of both worlds gg.
