Wonder if Valve's DOTA-like game will drop to 0 FPS constantly on good machines?

Oh wait, I can run HL2 at great settings on my old desktop at a consistent 40 FPS...

Not at all interested after seeing what valve has mutated TF2 into.

Fair enough, but I don't see why they're not going for the whole team. I mean, it's just what Valve does. Buy people who have creative ideas, then sit back as people lay on praise for your totally original idea.

Or the fact that they took L4D downloadable content, added Southern US accents, and called it a new game... that managed to be worse than the original.

Valve is practically the saving grace of PC gaming right now because they are not afraid to try out new ideas. Are they sometimes assembled by other people? Yeah, but the point is Valve is the one with the guts to actually try something new, whether of their own making or lending serious support to an indie developer. Way better than mass producing Call of Duty 10 or Halo 5 or whatever else. Not to mention Valve was way ahead of the curve on digital distribution.

Looks like it's can be a bit messy, with so much going on.
