Hey there. First off, thank you so much for not only an amazing skin, but for making it 975 instead of the dreaded (and expected) 1350.

However, I have to ask why you not only reversed course on his R particle improvement, but went so far as to make it even worse than it was pre-fix? About 2 months ago, you guys improved vision of his R particle, making it more noticeable for team mates to be able to take advantage of his ultimate. With the new Arclight skin, not only is it harder to see, but it is harder to see than it was before the fix, particularly during the bitsplosion of particle effects of team fights.

please, pleASE, PLEASE go ahead and fix this so that it reflects the commitment you made towards improving Varus' viability and effectiveness.

Thanks in advance for any response!

EDIT: To clarify, I am talking mostly about the in-air particle effect of the 'tendrils' as they fly towards his target. On the Arclight skin, they are wire-thin sparkly-gold threads that nearly get lost in a simple in-lane 1v1. In a team fight, they may as well not exist as they are lost as they begin. The 'tendrils' around the enemy champions are also too thin and largely lost in the fray. Please Riot...... you took the time, energy and resources to fix it once, please fix it on the Arclight skin as well.

Thanks!

We'll be looking into this to see what we can do to improve the visibility of the ult effects, both for the Varus player and others - this is indeed failing to deliver the necessary feedback/satisfaction at the moment.

The current visibility of the basic shot is fine (at least on the default model, no clue about the other ones), but knowing when you're going to get "tendriled" is still not the best. Maybe have a full line going to you (a la Morgana's ult) that slowly changes color before it hits you. That way you know the reaching tentacle is on you as opposed to someone else, and you can get a better idea of how long until it procs.

Yeah, the default model is not the issue. It is only on Arclight Varus. It is so difficult to see, it actually leaves the Varus player wondering if it actually worked. The default skin, and the Crystal Blight skin ulti particles are perfect. They are easily recognizable, even in team fights. They had improved them about two months ago, because prior to that, there was only a single, somewhat thin tendril. They added the second one, and widened them so it was more obvious. This made it possible for teammates to react accordingly and take advantage of the effect. If they were to use the classic particle effect, but color it yellow, they'll have a winner.
