Which is has more legitimacy, calling in ranked que's, or pick order?

Having your last pick forced into a support role is a waste of a last pick. Traditionally speaking because top and mid are the easiest lanes to counter pick you want them going last.

Your team is under no compulsion to honor any lane calling. It defeats the point of draft pick, and has no place in a game balanced around counter picks. All calling lanes does is effectively force someone to blind pick.

Its something else entirely when there's a lane, or a character you're just bad against, but as a whole once you realize League isn't the fifth grade, you realize that calling lanes is stupid. If there's a role you can't play, you shouldn't be in ranked. You don't play a team game to then not play like a team. Calling lanes is the antithesis of League.
