Are items that improve range of abilities. Either a decent amount in one item (like 100), or (what I prefer) a bit in many items (20 to 40 per item). Could even be in existing items.

I prefer the second option because it means they can't rush such an item and have a stronger dominating phase early/mid game. Rather, as the game unfolds they have some mean to stay somewhat competitive with all the other champs.

I think it would be a unique and fun way of allowing casters to itemize. Trade pure AP for less AP and range.

Alternative would be items that would lower range of opposing champs. But such an item would most probably be picked up by tanks too making life of casters even more painful.

Oh, and how about shroud wards, that would reduce line of sight of all champs and wards in it's AoE ? But I digress...

I STRONGLY disagree. Casters don't need the range buffs. Thats why there are champs like heimer, and kog, is to poke and proad before big fights. The weaker you can get them before a fight, = pewpew lazerz. Casters don't need a range buff, otherwise games would get out of hand.
