You get into a ranked match and play the absolute best that you can. However, because of **** teammates, you inevitably lose that game. This happens over and over and over again, forcing me down to an unrepresentative elo that does not show your true skill level.

I feel that in this sense, the ELO system is broken. Anyone else?

I got the same teammates as you. I won. The system moves players who know how to win up and those who don't down

Fortunately, the law of large numbers says that you have a better chance to win than your opponents do in the long haul which means that you should be climbing with the occasional relative minima.
