When you have an Archangel's that you fully stack up into Seraph's Embrace, the 750 stacks that you had are removed from any other Archangel's and/or Tear of the Goddesses you have in your inventory. So each one has to be built individually because of this, but they all stack together until one upgrades. Which I believe (note: I haven't done the math or watched it closely in game) results in an AP loss when it upgrades (because of the mana/ap loss from the other ones starting at the bottom again).
