I'm confused. A few weeks (maybe a couple months) ago, if you saw a TF, he was ,90% of the time, going to be AP. Now, I mostly see AD. Why is this? I learned that AP Fate was just overall better than it's counterpart..Why the shift?
Thanks,
Wolf

Probably playing with bads. AP TF is still a thing - in fact, he's one of the most banned heroes in the game.

he can go either AP or AD. Kind of like Yi.

My guess is the new items help a lot with AD TF more. I don't know, haven't really checked out the new items yet on him.

AD TF's main problem is that he has no range. Late game he gets eaten because he has to go up close to do damage and he has no survivability/range steroid.

AD TF was more viable before his latest remake.
After that, it just became more effective to play AP TF.

I'm glad he can do both again.
In the original Twisted Fate champion spotlight, Phreak says that TF can be built around 6 different ways.
