I was setting up a brand-new Thinkpad W530 with a NVIDIA Quadro K2000M graphics card and recieved this error message while trying to enter a match: "An unknown error has occurred DirectX. Please make sure your video card supports Shader Model 2.0 and is using drivers from the manufacture."

I've already tried suggestions from the forums (Windows updates, Directx11 and Directx9 updates, graphics card driver updates) and none of them seemed to have an effect on the issue. So I submit the Dxdiag file in hopes that progress can be made.

I submit the Process List and the most recent r3d log for perusal as well. It would seem that my laptop switches between an intergrated graphics card and the NVIDIA Quadro K2000M to balance energy use and processing demand. I have currently set it to always use the NVIDIA card but results are no different from before.

I went into the BIOS and set the Display to use the discrete Nvidia card only. Seems to have worked.
