I'd like to let Dig know that i am available if they need a new jungler. or mid if they want to send scarra to the jungle.

I don't really understand why banning a game account removes him from competing in tournaments... I just hope that this doesn't backfire on riot and people don't decide being a pro league player is too risky.

That's what a permaban is... They ban the account with all that stuff on it, so he gets to make a new account and start over.

Read the judgement. His accounts were permabanned. The player was banned for a year from competitive play.

Oh, I can admit when I mess up. And others can feel free to tell me. However, if your primary form of entertainment is **** talking (as you said above), why not just go to any of a million places where focus is just that? Why stay somewhere that you have to complain because conduct like that isn't acceptable?

Oh good, now there will be one of the top players in all of NA smurfing against level 4s....great way to bring new people into a game. They should ban his IP address or something to ACTUALLY make it permanent.

being a pro player is risky in general. It's like all or nothing atm.

Let's say a player gets reported 100 times in 100 games. An absurdly high number. The Tribunal then begins building a case for the player. The Tribunal would then randomly sample the player's recent match history and pull a few recent games--it could be 1-5, but this number is not related to how many games or reports got you into Tribunal to begin with.
do you also not realize 90% of those reports are for no reason? just some little kid got beat in lane then blames you, clearly you guys are not reading every report or you would know this because clearly your in the tribunal for those 4 reports you get. i seen a guy in the tribunal once said one thing all game "gg noobs" and he was in the tribunal with one case, so your saying he was reported in 23% and he needs to be banned off of 1 report. seriously riot needs to find a new punishment method, rewrite the code and take action against EVERYONE since there are plenty of high elo players rage more then everyone

There was no other way they could have handled it. If they tried to keep it quiet and handle it behind the scenes, people would have accused them of trying to cover it up. If they make an announcement, people accuse them of, well.. this. This is the better solution IMO.

this is stupid, played Guild Wars professionally and there were some HEATED rivalries, banter, trolling involved in the game. From the random arena (solo que) to even the high end games. PEOPLE DELT WITH IT. You couldn't just press report after a game where someone got under your skin. Tribunal and all this reporting is stupid. You know what? One of my accounts has been suspended like 4 times.. so now Everytime someone swears or gets crazy i insta report them because I know eventually it'll lead to them being banned and its a pain in the ass to get banned.

This is stupid, people are reporting out of spite. There is really NO reason to even report someone. You have an ignore option? Mute? So it's like having a law like stealing, but any person who owns anything has the power to PERMANENTLY stop anyone from stealing, but they do not use this right, instead, they wait for someone to inevitably steal, and report them?

It's the same thing as reporting. YOu have the power to stop verbal harassment, you should able to report people for ruining the game physically.. not playing, trolling on purpose. especially in ranked play because you have something to lose. But this whole.. omg, that person swore at me, I'm going to report them is ****.

It didnt happen in Guild Wars because the company wasn't making enough money to care. Riot on the other hand, making a ton of money, has the money to allocate to this it's just pathetic. Fix the game, fix elo, fix champions, fix laggy streams of tournies. So many things you could spend your time on, and you are stopping kids from swearing at each other and calling each other names, it's stupid.

I played Guild Wars 2, and if someone is being unnecessarily sour and doing nothing but ragging on you - you are NOT punished for leaving and avoiding the situation.

It's a different scenario here in League of Legends than it is in any MMO arena.

Don't you think that if Riot cared about money, they wouldn't ban anyone? Especially people who are just guilty of having zero emotional control and the maturity of a rabbit?
