Men and women can be both raped, but women are at a far greater risk. Don't try to say it's not offensive because it can happen to both sexes, because one is far more likely to experience it than the other.

If anything, that makes it more offensive because both can be raped.

Lots of women have been raped. Something like 1 in 5 women will be raped or assaulted in their lifetime. Men can be raped and abused too. Do you really not care at all about their feelings? This isn't about freedom of speech or censorship, it's about being respectful or other people. If someone specifically asked you to not use "raped" around them when you win because they were raped as a child would you keep using it?

So every fifth woman in the world was raped... wow, sure.
