Again... you need to be logical.

How do you know that his previous bans were not same as this one?

This case is this case. You shouldn't make judgement based on your assumptions of his previous bans and behaviors. Because you have no evidences for your claim.

Can you tell that he deserves a ban from chat log in these 2 games?

This is what you need to answer. Not finding excuses to punish by guessing what might happened.

He got banned before? =/= He deserves a ban this time. There is no relationship between them here.

No it's really you that needs to think logically. Regardless for the reason for warning or time ban in each case, the very fact that a player has been through the report system more than one time for any offense - whether it be for having a toxic, negative attitude towards other players or for intentionally feeding - the rules were still broken each time action was taken after the player was reported.

If you are unable to follow the rules - whether it be the lighter ones (don't swear/flame your team or the enemy) or the heavier ones (racial abuse, feeding) - you shouldn't be allowed to play the game. If you don't bother to listen to the first warning, the second warning/ban - then why should Riot or any other game maker give you any further game time to ruin the experience of other players.

Permanent bans for any bad behavior from a player who has shown previous bad behavior is perfectly acceptable, reasonable and rational. You had a chance to improve your behavior, and you ignored that chance.

Read the reform card...had Negative attitude in a few of the games, and some verbal abuse, would warrant a warning. Oh wait, Since he is PERMA BANNED. Means he got his warning, continued to do it, got a time ban, continued to do it...and here we are. Seems he cant learn from his mistakes. Being bad at a game, doesnt give him or anyone the right to chew people out. Offer something constructive. Or better yet, just swallow it up, have fun knowing you may lose, then MOVE ON. There is an ignore button for a reason at the end of matches.

If you need to win EVERY GAME. Stick to your ranked group and dont solo que. If you have a party of 4 and the guy you get is horrible, try to win 4v5. Lots of satisfaction in that.

in two of those games you had people go afk. i'd be willing to bet money that those ****s are still allowed to play. Riot please change tribunal so it requires at least 3 votes for the game to show up.

You want the Tribunal adjusted so that its ok to act like a jerk?

Sorry, but that is ridiculous. You friend was enough of a jerk in the first game to warrant a "Punish", which is what the "Strong Majority" voted for. The punishment (unless you are part of the tinfoil hat brigade) was decided by Riot.

Let's not forget they take permabanning seriously. In all the cases I've voted on that turn into Permaban's, they are often held back for a week or two (or more in some cases) whilst Riot is going though the cases.

Riot gets the result from the Tribunal and then looks into the player reported. They look back over the previous cases to see the pattern of behaviour, then they see if you've attempted to reform followed by looking at pre/post game chat etc. At that point they make a call to permaban or time ban. Riot have made it clear many times this is how they handle such cases and I've seen no evidence that Riot does anything less (only tinfoil hat speculation from banned jerks).

Essentially your friend chose to stick to his behaviour regardless of previous warnings/bans. His belief (and yours it seems) was that the "Tribunal" was wrong, but even believing that he would rather "stick it to the man" than realise that losing the jerk attitude might save his account.

Don't blame the Tribunal, all they did was hit "Punish" for a clear case of harrassment. Riot levelled the punishment and deemed him worthy of a permaban. The only person you and your friend have to blame is him.

Normally I'm pretty lenient but your friend was very toxic in even the first game. He might not have been toxic around you but he's certainly different in games.

Your friend is a text book jerk, when he "calls out" bad player for being bad he doesnt do it to help them, he just wants to insult.
He can go play HON or DOTA2, we dont want him or his kind here, he wont be missed.

Let me ask you something by giving an example. Let's say you're on the jury for a man that is clearly guilty of the crime he is there for. You have been on the jury before for another very similiar case, again the man was clearly guilty. Now lets say for the first man that was found guilty he gets a year in prison only because of it being his first offence. Now let's say the second man gets 5 years in prison, the maximum, for the exact same crime, he is a repeat offender. Would you say it wasn't fair for the repeat offender to get more time even though they are clearly not getting the clue than the man with a first offence?

Yeah I hear you. Your friend is a dick but not a superdick to be banned, even when warned.
This is like throwing someone in jail for life for never putting on their safety belt. I'm going to make a thread about this in a sec but people hit punish for the dumbest things. One sentence on that ez and he gets mad. Especially players in high elo games, They shouldn't be judged has harshly because of the stake of the games.
