Stop.
Think.
Freedom of speech is part of the first amendment.
What's the second one?
Right to bear arms.
Lets give an analogy.
Riotgames is an entertainment business not affiliated with the government.
Disney is an entertainment business not affiliated with the government.
Lets say you buy 10000 Riot points and play a few games. Later you swear and flame repeatedly and get warned. After that you are suspended for 1 day because you repeat your behavior. You STILL repeat your behavior and are banned for 3 days. You STILL do not improve and are banned for 7 days. You STILL do not improve and are banned for 14 days. You STILL do not improve and are permabanned.
You complain on the forums about an unjust system that violates your rights and freedom of speech, complain that others started it, and you ask for a refund.

Now back to Disneyland for comparison.
Lets say you buy a year round pass and have fun for a few weeks. Later you sneak an AK47 into the park. A few random strangers (keep in mind, the people in your LoL games are also random strangers) walk by and you feel that they are too loud.
So, being the logical and responsible person you are, you point your AK47 at them and tell them to be quiet that instant.
You are kicked out of the park.
You complain about an unjust system that violates your right to bear arms, ask for a refund for your ticket, complain that they started it, and

Simpler explanation: the First Amendment protects you from the government impinging on your freedom of speech. Riot is not the government. Thus, the First Amendment does not apply.

What ppl don't understand is that once you are banned, a perma ban is unavoidable unless you stop using chat all together, b/c if you have ONE bad game EVER after the 14 day ban, you get perma'd. One guy had was a bit negative SIX MONTHS after his 2 week ban. Perma'd immediately.

The system, like any system, has flaws, just cuz you love Riot so much doesn't mean you have to be blind to them.

I've said that many times, but the people who've been banned typically lack the brainpower to understand that so I spelled it out for them.

Freedom of speech may be part of the first amendment but if you're a jerk, I still have the right to kick you out of my house. League of Legend's is the property of Riot Games - they reserve the right to kick out anyone they please.

The reality is that freedom of speech is an illusion. Try it with a police officer sometime. You'll be wishing you used your right to remain silent instead of your precious freedom of speech that got you thrown in a cell for back talking to an officer.
