Game will not start after champion Select

First thing to clarify, this is not a black screen issue. I will try to give as detailed explanation as possible. Everything in league works properly all the way until after champion select. Once champion is selected and game is supposed to start, my league minimizes, as it would normally when loading the actual game. The game never opens to the load screen is the issue. Instead, when I maximize my LoL Client, it says in a box "In Game - Game is still in progress..." Now I have not tried this in blind pick or any normal game, but only custom games (I don't want to screw random people over).

A little background on the issues previous to this one. I did a system restore (which screwed up my LoL Client). Previously my launcher did not even open my LoL Client when I pressed play. I went through a series of forum and google searches to find solutions, and made it as far as I am now. I am stumped and have no idea what to do now. Every time I try to look anything up related to my problem, it is a black screen issue with the loading screen. I have checked and double checked DirectX, AdobeAir, video/resolution, and several other issues that it could have been. I would love to have any advice or idea from anyone else. A friend of mine has this issue, but I have found no way to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for bringing your issue to the Help and Support Forum! You have provided an incredibly detailed account of the exact issue you are experiencing, completely preventing you from even opening a game of League of Legends. After reviewing this issue, I believe there are a few steps you can take in hopes of resolving this issue.

First and formeost, I would like to confirm that you have performed a complete and clean re-installation of League of Legends since performing a System Restore. Please keep in mind that performing a System Restore will typically heavily corrupt the installation of League of Legends due to how often the game updates. Since I did not see that this was done from your original post, I would like to ensure that you have performed this critical step.

Furthermore, if you have performed a clean, full re-installation, then typically this issue is caused by an over-zealous 3rd party program, negatively interacting with League of Legends (commonly Firewalls or Anti-virus programs). Essentially, your computer may be attempting to make a connection to our Game Server, which is being blocked or severely delayed. Becasue of this, your computer never establishes a solid connection in order to display the Loading Screen.

I've got the exact same problem and i to performed a system restore. I tried repairing and it didn't work, i have not tried re-installing because it uses up so much of my internet usage and i'd rather not risk going over my usage just to find out it doesn't work. Unfortunately i discovered this bug in two draft games -_- and will not be surprised if i get banned for something I am not at fault for. I was wondering if the original poster found or anyone else has any easy fixes on this, thank you.

Its your firewalls! Allow league of legends in your firewall and this problem wont happen
