Having issues lately too, all started with the live manteinance just before Season 3 arrived. I live in Argentina and i never had such problems since i started playing, now in the middle of the game jumps from 200 (normal) to 700, but in teamfights when the 2 teams cluster always, ALWAYS jumps to 4000 and higher. It keeps ocurring in the same pattern all times (all ranked games too :/) so stopped playing them, but also happens in aram and normal.

Can you please reply with the ISP you are using and a Traceroute to 216.133.234.193.

Traceroute instructions:

Windows Steps

1
Click Start.
2
Click Run. From here a box will open.
3
Type "cmd" without quotes in the box to open the command prompt.
4
Type in "tracert 216.133.234.193" without quotes.

You will see each transfer though other computers on a network, or HOPs the IP packet takes along the path to the site/server. On each line there will be three durations (in milliseconds) to each hop along with the domain name of that device and its IP address.

The more HOPs there are, the more routers the packet traveled through. You will see something like:

28 ms 41 ms 33 ms www.firstdevicedomain.com [192.168.0.1]
2 48 ms 41 ms 49 ms www.seconddevicedomain.com [16.70.15.99]]
3 92 ms 99 ms 98 ms www.thirddevicedomain.com [53.11.75.99]
4 122 ms 141 ms 137 ms www.domain.com [46.44.5.122]
ISP is Charter, had them out 4 times and they've tried some things.. but none have worked. They are having some issues on their end this week, but the lag spikes have been going on for me for about 3-4 weeks now. Speed tests are good, ping tests are decent most of the time with no packet loss... other times seeing 1%.

I tried port forwarding as well, but I'm not completely sure I did it correctly because I didn't see an improvement. I'm having my ISP out again tomorrow to see what can be done. League is why I have internet.. if it's my ISP's fault someone better be getting a credit on their next bill!!!!

EDIT: I'm wired directly to my router.

Two computers in my house are having this issue.

Everyone around the player's character runs around normally while the player's champ auto-attacks or follows the previously entered command. I believe that it happens most frequently while in combat, but can occur at any time. (I.E running around in the jungle alone).

Our ISP is Comcast. We live in Philadelphia, PA. Our ping is normally (even during games with this issue) 89-100 and very stable. Our router is only several months old and is Cisco brand. FPS is stable at approx 60 on high visual settings.

I've tried power cycling everything, restarted clients, re-installing, etc. Nothing works.

We've never gotten lag prior to two weeks ago and both of us have paid for skins, prepaid cards, etc. Right now the game is totally unplayable due to the frequency of this issue.

This problem has been so annoying. i have had this since around nov 27th aslo, reinstalled game and it helped for about a week then some patch messed it up again. Also it is only affecting my desktop which is hardwired to internet but my laptop on wifi has no issue.

I've been playing this game for 2 years and half, never had this problem, but lately my ping is going crazy, I can't play with 900 ping and I've been looking for a way to fix it, but Riot seems to not want to help me.
