Yay, the Preseason patch is finally here! The new items and masteries are shaking up everyone's builds, and it'll take a while for most of us to figure out what we like best.

But while we're all focusing on the new toys available to us, let's not forget The Jungle. While everyone recognizes the obvious changes to their own spec and gear options, I personally am seeing a tendency to treat the jungle as though nothing has changed. This is simply not the case.

To start with, the new jungle is harder. As you can hear for yourself on the featured video, Riot's intent is to reduce the early-game decisive power of the jungler and make farming the jungler both more rewarding and more difficult. What this means for you, the lane players, is that your jungler will probably not be around as much as you are used to, and that certain conventions (I'm looking at you, Mid) may need to be adjusted.

It's too early to say exactly how the revised jungle will affect the new metagame - that's just going to take time and effort to hash out. But until we get everything settled, please, be kind to your jungler, and bear in mind that what you're used to thinking of as the "right" thing may no longer be correct.

I'm wondering if it would be worth it to go kinda deep into utility and start with bonus gold and a biscuit. The gold could be used to start Machete+Flask for ultimate sustain. Put the leftover points into defense.
I'm curious to try this on Nautilus.

EDIT: Looked at the new masteries. I think 0/9/21 could work on the tanky/utility junglers like Naut and Amumu. In Utility, I started with the MS boost and the mana boosts. Next, I put points in Spell Vamp/Lifesteal, Bonus starting gold+goldper5, and Biscuit. Finished off with the ward and final MS point. The 9 in defense were pretty self-explanatory: HP and damage reduction. While this might leave the junglers too squishy, all the MS from Utility could allow for the removal of MS Quints for more defensive ones. As I said before, the bonus gold would be used to start Flask+Machete+Biscuit.
